Happy to highlight that India has just recorded its best-ever year in wind energy. We have added a historic 6.1 GW of wind capacity in 2025-26, a 46% increase over the previous year.
While addressing the gathering on key priorities shaping the next phase of growth, spoke about how wind turbines ranging from 225 kW to 5.3 MW are now being manufactured within the country, reinforcing our commitment to Aatmanirbharta.
We are also actively working to enable long-term, low-cost financing through blended finance and credit enhancement frameworks, ensuring sustained investment momentum.
Concluded the celebrations with a clear mantra: The journey to 156 GW over the next 10 years is entirely within reach, and we will make any necessary course corrections to stay firmly on track.
