🚨 BREAKING: A 26-year-old South Dakota sheriff's deputy has died after being shot at a Sioux Falls home.
Minnehaha County Deputy Katherine Frank was critically wounded Friday night and died Monday, surrounded by her family. Per the sheriff's office, she became an organ donor in a final act of service.
The suspect, 39-year-old Brandon John Oetken, is being held without bond.
"She served the citizens of Minnehaha County with professionalism, humility, and dedication." Rest in peace, Deputy Frank.
