Antisemitism transcends borders and no country can defeat it alone. That’s why @ADL established the J7, convening the seven largest Jewish Diaspora communities to identify shared threats, develop solutions and press governments to act. The UK currently is serving as J7 chair and hosting the 2026 summit in London. Since 10/7, we have seen toxic antizionism and violent antisemitism surge around the world including in J7 countries. We see state and non-state actors, particularly the Islamic Republic of Iran and its proxies, contributing to this phenomenon, targeting Jewish communities worldwide including in the UK. The time to act is now. In this context, we had a very direct conversation with Foreign Secretary @Ed_Miliband. While there are areas of strong disagreement including the recent sanctions on Israel and accompanying rhetoric by the British government, we also identified some common concerns including our shared view on the racist antizionism of the Green Party; the need to curb the wave of vicious harassment and hostile rhetoric directed at the British Jewish community; and the necessity of mitigating lthe expanding threat of online antisemitism enabled by AI and social media. But this was just the first conversation. We intend to keep pushing for action and demanding accountability.

Patriotism is based on love. Nationalism is based on envy and resentment.

The Groypers melting down under my post are proving something interesting. They scream that immigrants need to assimilate. I did. I embraced America. I want America to succeed. I want the best students, engineers, scientists, founders, and researchers in the world choosing America over China, Europe, or anywhere else. Apparently even that is offensive now. I thought the argument was supposed to be: merit, assimilation, contribution, excellence. So what exactly is the objection? Because if an immigrant assimilates, loves America, works hard, competes on merit, and still isn’t acceptable to you, then maybe assimilation was never the real issue.
