I'm very amused that it took til Hexed, NOW in *2026*, for folks to realize and get sick of the generic and repetitive human designs, despite it's been happening for DECADES now. Guys look like this and girls look like this, and apparently there's no other way to design people.

Studio suits would say a wizard reading Hawking while magically stirring a drink was pointless, and purists would say it ain’t canon. But with practical FX, kids in plain clothes and a coherent Hogwarts layout, Cuarón gave us a believable world.

I swear, Cuarón defined so much of that world and made it iconic.
It’s a genuine shame we’ll never know how he would’ve shaped the rest of the series.
I feel like a nap at The Burrow would solve all my problems—or “slap,” as the children say. But I also feel like the living room would get loud pretty quickly, and Mrs. Weasley would be one of those moms who’s up cooking at the crack of dawn, so you couldn’t actually sleep in.

I call balls and strikes. Disney Imagineering has been less than impressive... but THIS is quite good, especially given the budget. The whole team behind the Animation area at Hollywood Studios knocked it out of the park.
From the moment this project was announced, I had a feeling it was going to be a step in the right direction… and everything I’m seeing confirms it. Absolutely magical. Well done! 👏🏼✨

But this? You could’ve pitched a retelling on this casting alone, because OF COURSE Mad-Eye was a Karl type!
