βCustomers are always rightβ is one of the biggest business lies ever told.
Sometimes you need to put them in their place and let them understand that without value, their money is useless, else theyβll never respect you and the value youβre offering them.
Replying to @MegOfficiall
"This is her manager. You will not speak to anyone on my team like that. Not today. Not ever."
He started shouting again.
She said, "I'm going to stop you there. We're done working together. I'll send the final invoice today."
And she hung up.
$80,000 a year. Gone. In one sentence.
She turned to me and said, "Take the rest of the day. Paid."
I cried in my car for twenty minutes. Not because of him.
Three weeks later, the client called back and asked for my manager.
He apologised to her. Then he asked to speak to me, and apologised again.
She took him back. At a 15% higher rate.
She calls it the "manners fee."
Hope you know a part of being intelligent is the ability to break down the most complex things in the most simple form?
Madam enjoy your Carrick, no dey shout for our head!
The annoying part about this Amorim guy and why it's more painful than every other previous managers is that every sensible Man Utd fan knows we lost a rare gem.
π¨ποΈβ οΈ Ruben Amorim after Milanβs 4-0 win: βYou look TOO much at the result. I think weβve played BETTER games. I DISAGREE when you say this was our BEST performance.β
βTonight we played well, but there were four or five situations where, with more precision, they could have caused us a LOT of problems.β
βWe still have many things to improve.β

If you were genuinely shocked when Daenerys burned King's Landing, you weren't paying attention. The signs had been there for years.
She repeatedly spoke about burning cities, destroying her enemies and bringing entire places to the ground. She never really hid what she was capable of. She had been making these threats for years.
Let me show you at least 5 different evidence and I will quote her word for word π
Let's be real: Daenerys didn't "suddenly go mad." She literally warned us for years.

George R. R. Martin. what a guy π how did he even come up with all those names in Game of Thrones? the creativity, the accuracy, everything is so insanely on point.
Let me tell you why we turn the phone upside down.
Itβs called framing.
When you hold your phone normally, the camera is roughly at eye level with your subject. And while thereβs nothing wrong with that, it doesnβt always give you the most visually appealing perspective. Your subject can easily blend into the environment.
Turn the phone upside down.
Now the camera sits slightly below eye level. Tilt it upwards a little, and you create a subtle low-angle perspective that elevates your subject and makes them stand out.
Itβs a small trick, but it can completely change how your picture looks.
