Thank you everyone for an incredible sendoff! Your kind thoughts and words meant so much to me. I will miss that great job I had and all my viewers and friends on TV, but time for a new adventure. Time to smell the roses. Oh wait these are actually cupcakes from neighbors #abc13

On my final day of channel 13, this is what I walked into this morning! Can I tell you how much I love my co-workers! Of course ABC13-Elita Loresca and Brett Birkinbine were the instigators..

Three days to go and time to say a giant THANK YOU to my wife and daughters, who always loved, supported and put up with me. They’ve allowed me to do this job, even though it meant going through holidays, tragedies like 911, hurricanes, and a Harvey-flooded house without me!

A man was shot during a home invasion at an apt complex in the Mission Bend area (sw Harris Co). Another guy—who lives here—was pistol whipped, according to HCSO. Shooter ran—no arrests at this point. #abc13

Four days to go! Many of you have asked if I have shaved my mustache since I started at channel 13. The answer is yes. Back in 1996 when I had a couple of weeks off. So what do you think? #abc13
