In @ferra_protocol the liquidity pool is actually an on chain reserve which is run by a smart contract.
Two assets are held here and the system automatically determines the swap price according to the algorithm.
Launching a pool for a token pair means starting the market for that pair. By providing liquidity at the beginning trading starts
The price is gradually discovered and in return as LP you get a trading fee with additional incentives if you have one.
Ferra DLMM and CLMM pools do this in a more structured way so that the market bootstraps easier and liquidity is healthier.
Simply put its not just about being an LP
its about creating an on chain market for a token pair.
