Happy Alaska Day Frens!
Today is the 158th anniversary of the Treaty of Cession, negotiated by U.S. Secretary of State William Seward, to pay Russian two cents per acre for Alaska.
The purchase was widely ridiculed as, "Seward's Folly."

๐๐ญ ๐ข๐ฌ ๐๐ง ๐๐๐ฌ๐จ๐ฅ๐ฎ๐ญ๐ ๐จ๐ฎ๐ญ๐ซ๐๐ ๐ that while the media fixates on specific fraud cases and political figures, they conveniently ignore the massive, democrat created taxpayer-funded incentive structure that makes Minnesota a magnet for Somali immigrants who have no interest in assimilation or contributing to our economy. The issue isn't just all their illegal schemes; the system itself is rigged to reward those who despise our nation.

It is high time we stop pretending that rooting out fraud is enough. We are incentivizing the permanent settlement of a population that largely rejects American values while putting the burden of the cost squarely on the shoulders of hard-working, native-born citizens.
The data confirms this is a systemic failure, not a series of anomalies. Analysis of Census Bureau American Community Survey data (2014โ2023) by the Center for Immigration Studies reveals that approximately 81% of Somali-headed households in Minnesota utilize some form of means-tested welfareโa figure that jumps to 89% for those with children. Looking at the breakdown, roughly 54% are on food stamps and 73% rely on Medicaid.
Even after living in the United States for a decade or more, these trends remain largely unchanged, paired with child poverty rates near 52% compared to roughly 8% for native households. We are importing and subsidizing a permanent underclass that refuses to integrate, and our state leadership remains complicit in this demographic and economic transformation.
This totally disgusts me.. How about you. ๐ถ๏ธ

Elon nailed the double standard.
If we shipped 100,000 Americans to Greenland, elected an American prime minister, and voted the place into the U.S., the left would lose their minds. Do that to Europe through mass immigration and they call it progress.
Same playbook here. Import the votes. Change the country. Then act shocked when the natives notice.
Europe is the warning. November is the off-ramp.

As the #1 prospect in WNBA history, I would like to extend an apology to these 2 women. Free speech is a pillar of America and we infringe upon it at our own peril. Iโm not so sure why anybody would be so upset anywayโฆ Chromosomes are just a social construct, science is a cis normative patriarchal oppression. We are moving beyond that. Clock it! ๐ค๐ฝ๐ธ๐ฝ
Thank you ladies! Youโre stunning and brave!

Gopher Tortoise
A common, yet threatened keystone species of the pineland scrubs of Florida, the gopher tortoise is extremely important to so many of the species it lives with, tremendous conservation efforts are being put into place to save this vulnerable animal and its habitat. This long-lived and only native North American tortoise is found throughout much of the coastal Southeast, and the most important thing it does for its home is dig. Gopher tortoises build enormous burrows that can be up to 50 feet long and nearly 10 feet deep, and not only just one burrow. Over the area of several acres, it can build many burrows to suit its needs over a lifetime. These tunnels keep it safe from predators, cool in summer, warm in winter, and more importantly - become homes and shelters for other species who have evolved to take advantage of this master burrower's talents. Biologists have named at least 360 species that rely on these burrows for their own livelihood, such as foxes, skunks, rattlesnakes, etc.... This one was photographed near the Estero River in Estero, Florida.
