Just noticed that when I take a screenshot on MacOS Monterey 12.1 /w my iPad connected (using Sidecar), the screenshot will show up on the iPad (in iPadOS) to annotate with Apple Pencil. If I dismiss screenshot on either device, it will dismiss on both. Super useful! cc @viticci

All of these folks are buying new Macbook Pros, but I just keep on adding screens to my 16-inch Intel MBP. iPad Pro via Sidecar, 2010 iMac via @LunaDisplayHQ, 2009 Macbook Pro via @airserver and 2012 Macbook Air via Quicktime (actually mirroring my Apple TV).

So, now it is a requirement that you watch every #AppleEvent with Airpods Pro (with spacial audio). It sounds incredible.

I love the Closed Captions on the #AppleEvent just keeps saying “Apple Event" during the intro.

I just realized that the two tones that you hear when turning off and on the noise cancelation on AirPods Pro are the exact same two chords as the song Twee by Tullycraft. I can even activate it on beat, and it sounds wonderful (and a little weird). song.link/i/21359528

I have decided that the only acceptable app icon is a widget (Safari, Messages, and @OvercastFM don’t have one yet, unfortunately. So, they can live in the dock). Everything else that doesn’t have a widget can only live in the App Library only. Change my mind.

Talking with @krate_app a few weeks ago was such an absolute pleasure! @StevenKulesza and the whole team have done an incredible job of creating the future of music sharing/rating and community building. Take a listen to the interview that just went live: podcasts.apple.com/us/podcas….

So love this approach with children. I find that too often YouTube fills this boredom void for my kiddos (and myself, to be honest). Great reminder to not let that happen.

This is an incredible summary for how @RaindeadGames has been able to "Render game worlds in text" youtu.be/CDDYeJznOhY. I can't get enough of his thinking about building stories inside of games. I hope more people take his advice and make these kinds of experiences!

This is one of absolute best use cases for the iPad as the primary computing platform for work. Beautifully done!

Well, I really appreciated the app! Particularly, I enjoyed the Chinese character drawing feature. You have built an elegant way for folks to use their finger to “paint” each stroke is lovely. Keep up the good work!

Brand new podcast episode is up! 10: Modern Technology Poking Through: podcasts.apple.com/us/podcas…. Apps from @PhotoCatch3D @Laoshiapp @SqueetApp @valeriedon @tripsyapp @peoplendroid @kaloapp @lostalgiaa @itsmnjn @LaunchingNext (Hunt of the Week!) @mifkys @atrinh and more!

I have really enjoyed using @cristianmoisei's Zones task/idea management app! I particularly like the way it creates "a colored room for my ideas." Here is what I thought of it on last week's episode of @_TheAppleHunter: youtu.be/TMwUMxVSPL4?t=1542.

One of my favorite AppleTV/iOS games of all time, Agent A, is only 99 cents today. If you haven’t played it, please do yourself a favor and grab it! apps.apple.com/us/app/agent-…

Does anyone know why an iPadOS update can’t go through if there is music playing? I mean, you are restarting the device anyway… Wouldn’t the music… just… stop…?

I always know when it is 9:00 am because I get an absolute torrent of notifications from every app who believes that 9 is the absolutely earliest that it is appropriate to bug you about every little inane thing.
