Dr. Cheyenne Bryant reveals she terminated two pregnancies as a teenager, with her father playing a big role in that decision despite women wanting her to keep the kids. She also explains how terminating the pregnancies shaped who she is today. “My mother and grandmother were crying saying keep it and my father was saying not on my watch, and I leaned more with my father’s choice, because nobody was forcing me with his choice and his exact words were you may hate me now but you’ll thank me later. And when i got in college my sophomore year, I called him I said daddy thank you, he said for what, and i said because you made the right decision for me. And so for me it shaped my trust in men who can lead because he let me into a promise land. That allowed me to beat the odds, it allows me to not be a statistic”
