$AMD closed up 2.19% on Tuesday. Somebody spent $4.1M in a single print betting it doesn't stay there. AMD 450P 02/19/2027 (157D) 1,007 contracts $4,108,875 premium $40.80 average fill 100% ask side. Not 95. One hundred. 1,000 of them in one print at 1:45 PM, $4,080,155 in that candle Volume on that strike the day before: 11 Volume percentile: 98 And it wasn't the only one. AMD 420P 10/09/2026 (24D) 2,497 contracts against 326 open interest $705,651 premium $2.83 average fill 96% ask side $4.8M into downside on a green day. Context: AMD fell 4.40% Monday in a sector-wide semiconductor selloff driven by doubts about whether AI infrastructure spending holds its pace. Micron dropped 5.71%, Nvidia 3.13%. Tuesday AMD took back half of it. Net premium on the day was positive $803,450. The tape was buying. Now the honest part, because the structure argues against both trades before it argues for them. AMD is in a dampening regime. Dealers are positioned to suppress moves. Spot closed $504.31, boxed between a put wall at $500 holding 7.5M and a call wall at $515 holding 10.6M. Net dealer exposure at spot is negative $8.4M per 1% move. The gamma flip is $460.86. Spot is 9.4% above it. That is the whole trade. The 450 put breaks even at $409.20. The 420 put breaks even at $417.17. Both strikes live below the flip, which means this position doesn't start working until AMD travels 8.6% down to $460.86, and that is exactly the level where the shock absorbers come off. Above it, dealer hedging fights every move. Below it, dealer hedging feeds them. The buyer isn't betting on a drift. They're betting on a regime change, and they've picked strikes on the far side of the trigger. One caveat I won't skip: a clean 1,000-lot at a near-money strike 157 days out is also exactly what portfolio protection looks like on a large long position. Ask-side tells you somebody wanted coverage. It does not tell you they're short. The 420 put is harder to explain that way. 17% out of the money, 24 days, and the next earnings print is November 3, which is 49 days away and outside the expiry entirely. There is no binary in that window. That one is a view, not insurance. Worth noting as context, not as a signal: AMD insiders sold more than $40M of stock in August. CTO Mark Papermaster moved 28,811 shares on August 20 around $471.87, EVP Forrest Norrod 17,261 on August 24 around $459.95, with more from the CFO's office. Over 85,000 shares on the month, all of it below Tuesday's close. That is three weeks stale and it is not why these puts printed. It is just the backdrop they printed into. Monte Carlo, 200k paths: the 450 put has a 73% chance of touching and 42% of finishing in the money. The 420 put, 16% to touch and 10% to finish. One buyer took out insurance. One took a swing. Both on the day the stock went green. Flow analysis only, not financial advice. — TakeProfits

Meta Connect keynote is September 23. This contract expires September 25. And dealers are short gamma at exactly that strike, on exactly that expiry. $META 687.5C 09/25/2026 (10D) 2,913 contracts against 61 open interest $3,322,621 premium $11.41 average fill 80% ask side 1,512 on the ask in one five-minute window at 10:10 AM, $1,668,100 in that candle Volume on that strike the day before: 27 Stock closed $670.24. The strike sits 3% above. Now the structure, because this is where it gets interesting. META is in an amplifying regime. Dealers amplify moves instead of suppressing them. The gamma flip is $666.26 and spot closed at $670.19. That is six tenths of one percent above the trigger. The put wall at $662.50 holds 12M right underneath it. So the stock is coiled on a knife edge with 12.7M of dealer support below and an amplifying regime above. Walk up from there. The 687.50 strike carries negative $6,778K in the September 25 column. Negative means dealers are short gamma there and have to chase a move up rather than fade it. The next real ceiling is the call wall at $700, carrying 12M. The buyer picked the strike inside that corridor and the expiry that covers the keynote. Note the OI: 61. The gamma surface I just described does not include this trade yet. It settles into open interest overnight. Whatever short gamma sits at 687.50 now gets deeper. Against all of it: META's net premium Tuesday was negative $13,703,197 on $932M of total premium. The tape spent the session selling. This buyer paid into it. What kills it: Connect is a product show, not a financial one, and it has never been a repricing event for this stock. Pre-event reporting points to glasses rather than a headset, which is the quieter version. Ten days at 40% IV gives 60% odds of touching $687.50 and 34% of finishing in the money. And the flip cuts both ways. Below $666.26 the same amplification runs downhill into a 12.7M put wall. Date, strike, expiry, and dealer positioning all line up. That's four things agreeing on a product keynote. In short dated calls for a quick move. Flow analysis only, not financial advice. — TakeProfits

Adobe beat. Adobe raised. Adobe fell. Then somebody paid $893,220 for puts that expire before the next earnings report. $ADBE 245P 11/20/2026 (70D) 628 contracts against 159 open interest 547 of them in one candle at 12:40 PM, $782,204 $14.22 average fill 95% ask side Volume percentile: 90 The setup: Q3 FY26 landed Wednesday. Revenue $6.76B, up 13%. Non-GAAP EPS $6.13 against $5.94 expected. Full-year guidance raised. Stock dropped 2.37% anyway, then bounced 1.37% Thursday to close at $252.23. This print hit into that bounce. Now look at the expiry. Adobe's next report is December 9. These puts die November 20, nineteen days early. This is not an earnings bet. There is no binary in the window. It is a bet on the drift in a name where a beat and a raise couldn't hold a bid for one session. And it cuts against the rest of the tape. ADBE net premium Friday was +$3.59M. The flow was net bullish. This trade was not. The gamma surface agrees with the trade, not the tape. Every ADBE bucket is negative. The call wall at $260 caps upside 3.1% away with $7.37K. The downside accelerant at $210 holds $16.64K, the largest level on the board. Dealers are positioned to amplify a move down harder than a move up. Honest caveat, because ask-side alone doesn't answer it: 3% out of the money at 70 days is also exactly what protection looks like. This could be a hedge on a long book rather than a directional short. The size tells you somebody wanted downside coverage. It does not tell you they wanted it naked. At 39% IV: 82% chance of touching $245 before expiry, 45% chance of finishing in the money. The market is already pricing this as close to a coin flip. Open interest on this contract was 16. Then 6,845 changed hands, into dealers who are short gamma at that exact expiry. $SN 165C 09/18/2026 (7D) 6,845 contracts against 16 open interest 6,000 of them in a single five-minute candle at 12:05 PM $1,374,990 in that one candle $1,594,585 premium on the day 84% ask side 65% of every SharkNinja option contract traded Friday I went looking for what sits inside those seven days and found nothing. Earnings are November 5, three expirations past this one. S&P announced the September rebalance on the 4th: Bloom Energy, Illumina and Everpure go into the 500. SharkNinja is not on the list. No earnings. No index add. So I checked the dealer positioning instead, and that's where the trade lives. SN gamma regime: amplifying, -0.70. Dealers amplify moves instead of suppressing them. September 18 gamma: -$19.7K. The most negative near-dated bucket on the board. Nearest call wall: $195.00, 21.3% above spot, holding $1.19K. Effectively nothing overhead. Accel up: $170.00. The stock closed at $160.80, roughly 17% below its late-August record close, after trading as low as $157.01 that same morning. The 165 strike is the gate between spot and the $170 acceleration level. That is what short-gamma dealers with no ceiling looks like. If it goes, the hedging pushes with it rather than against it. What kills it: seven days is seven days, amplification runs both ways, and the accel level below at $155.00 holds $10.07K. At 45% IV the math is 58% to touch $165, 33% to finish in the money. Empty calendar, negative gamma, $1.6M on the ask. Somebody has a view the schedule doesn't explain. [POSITION DISCLOSURE] Flow analysis only, not financial advice. — TakeProfits

$ONON closed Friday at $27.41. The 52-week range is $26.60 to $51.08. The stock is sitting on the floor of its own year. Somebody just bought 29,461 calls on it. ONON 29C 09/25/2026 (14D) 29,461 contracts against 351 open interest. 84x. $1,740,071 premium $0.59 average fill 20,904 contracts on the ask, 71% Volume percentile: 96 51% of every ONON contract that traded Friday was this single strike. Day put/call ratio: 0.09. Call premium $3.85M against $648K in puts. Here's the part the size is actually buying. On hosts its Investor Day in Zurich on Tuesday, September 22. This contract expires September 25. Three days on the other side of the event. Earnings aren't until November 11. That's outside this expiry entirely. Whoever built this position stripped out the earnings print and kept only the Investor Day. That is not a volume screen firing. That is somebody selecting the window. What kills it is in the dealer positioning, and it cuts both ways. ONON is in an amplifying regime at -0.70. The 14-day bucket covering this expiry sits at -$288.37K gamma, the most negative on the entire board, and a large share of that is the footprint of this trade. Dealers sold these calls. They are short gamma into the Investor Day. But the accelerants are lopsided. Up at $27.50, 0.3% above spot, $138.31K gamma. Down at $26.00, 5.1% below, $301.8K. The downside magnet is more than twice the size of the upside one. So the structure says a move gets amplified. It does not say which direction. At 50% IV: 47% chance of touching $29, 27% chance of finishing in the money. No Position Yet Flow analysis only, not financial advice. — TakeProfits

Follow-up on this morning. $KOPN closed the regular session at $4.57, up 6.78%, and held $4.55 after hours. It ran further than the 1.4% pre-market read I posted at the open. What it did not do is bring volume with it. Full session volume was 4.15 million shares against a three-month average of 5.21 million. That is 0.80x. Thirty-third heaviest of the last sixty-nine sessions. A stock up almost 7% traded a below-average day. Context for what participation actually looks like on this name. Thirteen sessions this quarter closed up 5% or more. August 11 was up 23.5% on 14.1 million shares, 2.71x average. July 15, up 12.5% on 1.46x. June 11, up 11.5% on 1.24x. Today is the second smallest of those thirteen moves, and it came without the tape to match. It also stopped exactly where the structure sits. The front-month call wall is $5.00 with 1,816 contracts of open interest, the heaviest strike on the board by a wide margin. Put wall $4.50, 553 contracts. Gamma flip $4.17. The close at $4.55 landed five cents above the put wall and forty-five cents under the call wall. Inside the range the options book defines, not through it. Off-exchange prints say the same thing. Over the last twenty sessions there were 334 block prints of 10,000 shares or more, 5.6 million shares in total. The two heaviest shelves are $5.00 and $5.25, together 47% of block volume. Today's close is beneath both. The size that traded up there was done in mid-August, at prices this has not reclaimed. Point of control for the three-month range is $3.81. That is where the most shares have actually changed hands since June, 16% below today's close. The volume shelf is underneath the price, not behind it. On the options book being too thin to read, which I flagged this morning. Net gamma exposure across the front month is roughly $22,000 per 1% move. There is no dealer position of any size to squeeze here. And the frame that matters. Five defense contract headlines this year. The stock is down 17.6% over three months. Up 6.6% on the month. Real move. No volume behind it. Stopped at the level the options book marks, with the heavy institutional prints still sitting above it.

Saw a post calling a $2.4M order today "LOOOONG $KOPN ." Ran the full pod before taking a side. The order is real, confirmed independently through StockTitan and the company's own release, dated today. Kopin got $2.4 million from an unnamed international thermal weapon sight manufacturer for OLED microdisplays. Deliveries start Q4 2026, six month fulfillment window, follow-on orders anticipated, not signed. Here's the part the hype skips. This is Kopin's fifth defense contract headline of the year. May brought a 21.5 million dollar follow-on production contract with a major US defense prime. June brought 14 million for thermal imaging eyepiece assemblies. April brought two separate wins, 3.6 million for a European helicopter helmet display program and 3.2 million for FPV drone optics. Today's 2.4 million is smaller than all four of those. Real contract, not a breakout number against Kopin's own 2026 baseline. Stock is up 1.4% pre-market to 4.34, off a 4.28 close. That's the market's own read on the size of this one. Ownership tells a slower story than the headline. State Street added 50.92% to its position, Blackrock added 22.26%, Geode added 6.28%. Two Sigma built a position from close to nothing, up over 4000%. That's mostly passive and quant flow, not a wave of active conviction buying. On the other side, AWM Investment cut 32.08% and Royce cut 17.53%. Some active managers are heading the other way while the passive book grows. Vol character on this name is mean reverting, 13 day half life, and realized vol is running well above what options are pricing in. Negative variance risk premium, the stock moves more than the options market expects it to. That cuts both ways. A move can come fast and it can fade fast too. This isn't a name that trends cleanly once it pops. Options book itself is thin, 13 contracts on the sentiment read, not enough size to lean on for a real signal. Worth knowing before sizing in. Shares outstanding have more than doubled over the last decade of dilution. Free cash flow has run negative most of the last several years, -7.76 million in the most recent quarter shown. This is a company that has historically funded itself by issuing shares, and a contract win like today's helps the story without having changed that pattern yet. Real order. Real contract cadence all year. Not the single catalyst the caps lock is selling it as, and a balance sheet that's diluted its way here more than once.

$TTMI ripped 8.85% today, closing at 125.67 off a 115.39 open. Same day, the options desk printed -$88.4K in net directionalized premium. No fresh TTMI press release behind it. Today was a broad AI and data center hardware rotation. Chips and PCB names caught the same bid across the board. TTM Technologies rode the sector, not its own headline. Gamma structure tells a different story than the candle. Dealers are in a dampening regime here, positioned to suppress moves, not extend them. Put wall sits right at 125, basically pinned to spot. Gamma flip is 129.37, just 2.9% above. Call wall stacks at 135, 7.4% out, with OI building all the way to 180. Ran the numbers into the 9/18 expiration at 64-75% IV. 70% chance TTMI tags the 129.37 flip. Only 48% chance it tags the 135 call wall. 28% chance it finishes above 135 at all. The tape ripped on beta, not conviction. Flow says fade the chase into 129-130, not chase the print. Discord is already in 👀. Flow analysis only, not financial advice. — TakeProfits

$COIN ripped 10% today to $192 and the options desk is leaning long into it calls did $100M in premium against $47M in puts. better than 2 to 1. the tape is positioning for a catalyst, and there’s a specific one on the calendar. September 15. the Senate holds a cloture vote on the CLARITY Act, the crypto market structure bill. that’s the thing moving COIN today, not just bitcoin. here’s what most people posting about it are getting wrong: this is not a passage vote. it’s procedural. 60 votes just to advance the bill to debate. and if it fails, it can effectively kill the bill for the year. that matters because the setup is not as clean as the flow makes it look. gamma flip sits at 193.81. spot closed at 192.72, just underneath it. that means dealers are still short gamma right here, in the zone where moves get amplified instead of dampened. there’s a wall of negative gamma stacked at 195 and 197.5 for this week. so the structure cuts both ways. a green CLARITY headline and dealers chase it higher into the 195-200 resistance shelf. a red one and the same short gamma accelerates the drop. this is a coiled spring, not a one-way bet. and the honest part: the crypto crowd at Jackson Hole was openly skeptical this bill passes in 2026 at all. heading into midterms, big legislation is hard. the flow is betting on a binary that half the room thinks fails. real catalyst. real date. real flow behind it. and a genuine coin flip on the outcome. size accordingly. no position.

$BE closed up 8% today at $235 and the tape is loud calls did $209M in premium against $66M in puts. that’s 3 to 1. the options market is leaning hard one direction into a catalyst. here’s what’s actually driving it: Q2 was a real number, not a hype number. $1.065B revenue, up 166%, first billion-dollar quarter. product revenue up 215%. they raised full-year guide to $3.9 to $4.2B and non-GAAP EPS to $2.55 to $2.85. gross margin 34%. this stopped being a story stock and started being a P&L. then the Brookfield framework went from 5B to 25B. that answered the funding question the bears were leaning on. now the crowd is betting on S&P 500 inclusion. and this is where I’ll be straight with you. that’s speculation, not a confirmed event. BE meets the size and profitability bar. but it runs a dual-class share structure, and S&P’s own methodology has historically excluded multi-class companies from the index. that’s a real reason inclusion could get blocked no matter how big the market cap gets. nobody chasing this today is pricing that in. the flow says higher. the gamma structure says there’s a wall. spot is pressing right into a $240 to $250 resistance shelf where dealers get short gamma. and the China scandium supply-chain notices are still an open overhang. so here’s the honest setup. real earnings, real funding, a speculative index catalyst that might not land, and a stock pressing into resistance. that’s not a lottery ticket. it’s a high-conviction tape into a binary. I’m long from 23.94 and holding. but I’m not going to pretend the S&P thing is a done deal when it isn’t. Long $BE from 23.94, shares.

$TTMI is my top defense AI PCB pick right now. The only US-listed pure-play PCB maker trades at just 20.3x forward earnings vs. a 25.6x median for Asian competitors, even after printing its first $1B revenue quarter at record margins. Moreover, TTMI is positioned right at the center: -> Over 40% share on NVIDIA’s VR200 platform -> 30% share on the LPU inference rack -> Lead supplier across switch generations for Cisco, Arista, and Mellanox -> $TTMI is qualified across nearly every major AI accelerator platform $NVDA, $GOOG, $AMZN, $META, $MSFT ->M+N architecture guided for ~$600M in H2 revenue alone As designs push past 50 to 100+ layers, board complexity and ASPs are surging, with PCB content cost going from $35k (in GB300) to $116k (In VR200). Up 233% This week the CEO and a board member bought a combined $1.6M in open-market purchases, the first insider buying after months of selling. $TTMI deep dive is out. $BE was down 43% in a month walking into this print. Short sellers circling on sourcing questions. Fear the Oracle pipeline deal was cracking. Then the number hit. EPS $0.78 vs $0.41 expected. Up 680% year over year. Revenue $1.065B vs $827.02M expected. Up 165% year over year, up 42% quarter over quarter. The flow was already telling you where conviction sat. $230 calls, 8/21 expiry, nearly 40% out of the money. $19.3M in premium on that single strike today, ask-side dominant the entire session, even as the contract itself bled 21% with the stock into the close. Someone kept buying calls on a stock in free fall because they were pricing the print, not the chart. Shares closed down 11% on the day at $166.93. After hours, back to $177, still 6% underwater from yesterday. The options market had a 27% swing priced in. The company delivered a 90% EPS beat and nearly tripled its year over year growth rate on revenue. The tape hasn't caught up to the number yet. Long shares.
