Bishop Ireton has named Chris Wright as their new head basketball coach. A former St. John’s (DC) & Georgetown standout point guard, Wright gets his first opportunity as a head coach in the WCAC. Currently coaching @dcassaulthoops 17s, he’ll bring plenty of knowledge from his lengthy professional career + the experience he’s had over the last couple of years.

Nolan Smith -- the first-year coach -- indicated that the 2025-26 Tennessee State Tigers would be "legends" in Nashville for everything they accomplished this season.

If you’re talking about starting to hold players accountable in March just get your freshman ready for next year😂
