I have heard all the suggestions, strength training is not OPTIONAL, it’s NECESSARY. I did my “junk mileage” and strength session. Of note, I still don’t like gym though. 🥲 #FetchYourBody2026
Runners, please indulge me. I am relatively new in running. I often hear other fellow runners saying that a course is downward (sometimes flat) therefore difficult? How is that possible? This always baffles me. 😬

I remember waking up to a text that triggered a mini heart break last year! 💔 I just woke up, laced the shoes & hit the road because I felt like there was a lump on my throat. 🥲 Sometimes you need a heartbreak 💔or disappointment to realise your potential. #FetchYourBody2026

In June, I ran 66km celebrating my late father’s birthday. He had just turned 66. I remember how difficult this run was, especially after the 50th kilometre. I am yet to commence with “Comrades” training. I know that I need to unlock monster mentality for a silver medal. Scary!🥲

I used to run close to 300km a month last year and early in the year. As and when my running economy improves, I have come to a realisation that QUALITY matters than QUANTITY in running. If you can, avoid junk mileage that tires you with no benefits. 👊🏾 #FetchYourBody2026

We did a route tester for #TheHeroesMarathon scheduled for later this month. I had fun. It was nice and easy. There is another route tester scheduled for the 14th of November. #VitalityRewards #FetchYourBody2026

Please bring your running stats so that we respond accordingly Bra Obakeng! We do not want to do injustice when responding to you.

I hate these new runners. They join marathons and races just to flex on their Instagram stories and act like fitness warriors. They’re running for medals and pictures, not for the love of the sport.

We do not speak enough about how much love is both SELFISH and JEALOUS.😭
The entitlement that comes with mjolo kinda traumatises me.
