2. Brann: Aune Heggebø🇳🇴 - Age: 23 (29/7/2001) - Position: Striker - Height: 185cm - Nationality: Norwegian🇳🇴 - Market value: €2,5 million - National team: Former U21 • Aune Heggebø is arguably the most established player on this list, having already made 121 appearances for Brann, and scoring 40 goals in the process. The 23-year-old is still an interesting player and might be ready for a step up in his career soon. • Heggebø is a centre-forward who excels in low-touch play, leveraging his mobility and intelligent off-the-ball movement to exploit space in advanced areas. He operates effectively as a target man, linking play with his back to goal, and provides width by drifting into wide channels. Rather than attempting to beat defenders individually, he prefers to delay possession, looking for opportunities to release quick, progressive passes. • Positionally fluid in the final third, he varies his runs between the posts and attacks areas between the six-yard box and the edge of the box. Although not a chance creator, Heggebø consistently finds himself in high-value goalscoring positions, demonstrating solid finishing ability, though there’s room to sharpen his clinical edge. His runs in behind the defensive line are well-timed, and he shows excellent timing and anticipation in attacking the ball. • Heggebø thrives in transition, utilizing his pace to penetrate defensive lines and act as an outlet for long passes, while linking play with incisive passing and effective hold-up play. Defensively, he presses aggressively, covering ground efficiently and applying high-pressure to disrupt opposition build-up. His stamina and persistence allow him to sustain pressure throughout the game, while his ability to read the game and shift angles to close down space highlights his pressing intelligence. • At 185 cm, his physicality allows him to shield the ball and engage in duels, and his agility ensures he's always a threat with his darting movements. His work ethic is evident across both phases, contributing to his team’s overall defensive and offensive efforts.
