When people lie about the EFF or EFF leadership and we take them to court, they cry. They claim we too insult others, that's false. The problem is that they treat our truth as lies and their lies as truth, which is exactly why we turn to the courts for clarity and to sift lies from the truth. If anyone believes that we've defamed them, they have the same right to sue and access to the courts that we do. We've worked too hard to build this organisation's image to let reckless people and leaders tarnish it.

The EFF has never organised, endorsed or participated in door-to-door campaigns to intimidate, threaten or forcibly remove foreign nationals from their homes. It is the ANC that has governed our country for over three decades while allowing immigration systems to collapse, border management to deteriorate, labour laws to be selectively enforced, and public confidence in the state's ability to uphold the rule of law to disintegrate.
