I begin Day 5 of my hunger strike in support of @tamanaparyaniP @ZarminaaParyani @zala_zazai and other brave Afghan women.
The hunger is increasingly palpable. I do not hunger for food; I hunger for a world in which women & girls may live with dignity into their full potential as creatures of God.
Gender Apartheid is an affront to all humanity—men & women alike—and must be named, condemned & opposed by the international community.

تمنا زریاب پریانی، زن معترض مقیم در آلمان در اعتراض به سیاست‌های ظالمانه طالبان علیه زنان در افغانستان، اعتصاب غذایی کرده و می‌گوید زنان در دو سال اخیر از حقوق انسانی‌شان محروم شده‌اند.

I think a lot about that little boy who was playing with his sister and then hung in Afghanistan as a revenge killing, his Father murdered prior for working with the Republic. I imagine his fear. His confusion. The terror. Not knowing or understanding what's being done to him. This is horror.
This is not the first time. They hung a 7-year-old boy in 2010.
