Hey @AnthemBCBS and @Accredo - Iām having major problems getting my Rx covered. Each of you says the other are supposed to cover it. Iāve spent 2 weeks and many hours in the phone trying to resolve this without success. Can you help?
Cool cool. My health insurance company is experiencing a ātech glitchā and every single doctor in NY is coming up as out of network. Literally every single doctor.
Can someone remind me where I can find the chart that shows healthcare costs rising faster than costs in other industries? I canāt remember who publishes this chart
I tried to get info & came up short. wanted to know if the Customer network had a separate MOOP from other network providers. In the member portal, the SPD was outdated and didnāt mention this network and I couldnāt find the SBC. There was also no list of preferred providers.
Insurance people: I know what In Network and Out of Network are. What the heck is this third category ācustomer networkā? If it matters, this is a United plan through an employer (not mine).

This experience was so outrageous that I overlooked one of the worst parts: this AmSurg center is billing facility fees! The whole benefit to patients of AmSurg centers is that they generally donāt bill facility fees and are lower cost
I cancelled my procedure. I used to run a health plan. I work for a large health system. I still canāt believe I almost got snookered into having an out of network procedure.
I just learned that the AmSurg center, Upper West Side Endoscopy, a @MountSinaiNYC JV, is out of network ābecause itās new.ā They promise to only bill me for in network copays. But I canāt see the paperwork Iāll have to sign until I arrive for my appt.
This is the second time Iāve had to cancel a colonoscopy to avoid a #surprisebill. Fortunately, this was a routine screening. The last time I was having an #ibd flare and I was so scared of getting an OON bill that I waited a whole year, until I was so sick that I had no choice
The #nosurprises act makes progress in protecting consumers from #surprisebills but there are still so many opportunities to accidentally wind up with enormous bills

And no one canāt tell me how GI, Anesthesiology,Pathology will bill. Iāve made 10+ calls to @MountSinaiGI @mountsinaiIBD and others. If the facility were in network, Iād be protected by the Surprise Bill law. But bc the facility is OON, I have no protections from OON MD bills.

Hey @AutoEurope_DE, how do i reach an English speaking representative? I was overcharged for a European car rental but cannot reach an English speaking customer service rep. Calls just get disconnected. I also tried emailing and did not get a response.
