Heartbroken by the passing of Coach Lou DiRienzo (DC 2020-24, GA 2016-17) He was a husband, father, mentor, friend who gave everything to this program. Keep Allie, Giavanna, Audrina and his family in your thoughts. Rest in peace, Coach Lou. Forever our Brother.

One of a kind human. The amount of people you impacted in your short time on this earth is astounding. I can’t thank you enough for everything you did for me not only as a player, but as a young coach in this profession. The world lost one of the best. Love you Coach. Rest Easy🕊️

There are coaches who teach football and there are coaches who teach you how to live. Coach Lou did both. I was lucky enough to experience that love firsthand. He always said, "Forget About Me, I Love You." FAMILY. He did not just say it. He lived it. Coach Lou will always be family. Praying for Allie and the entire DiRienzo Family, Monmouth Football, and everyone who had the pleasure of being in coaches presence. Rest easy, Coach.

Gutting doesn't do it justice. SC does many things well but the best by far is the brotherhood it creates. I am so lucky to have worked with and been befriended by Lou. The game is inconsequential his people mattered most, he knew that, and that is where my heart is today.
