People can take my prologue's and chapter titles when they pry them from my cold, dead hands.
Writing Rules: Tropes are bad. Me: right... Writing Rules: ok not all the time & you shouldn't write too far outside the tropes the market wants. Me: wait... how do you know- Writing Rules: prologues are bad too. Except if that's where the story starts. Also chapter titles.

This applies to making art, too. You have to make art that shows the good, not just bashes the evil.
It’s not enough, in individual life or in politics, to hate and fight against what is bad. One must, at a more fundamental level, love and promote what is truly good. Without that motivation, the defeat of evils is bound to result merely in their replacement with different evils.

You know you're dealing homeschooled kids when they want to have a PG Wodehouse party. This is about 6 years ago.

Today’s gonna be a good day. I know this because my tea turned out perfect this morning and I didn’t even try to drink it while it could still burn my tongue. Happy Thursday, y’all!
