ESHG 2026 brought together a leading international community in human genetics, covering key topics such as clinical genomics, multi-omics, population genetics, and bioinformatics. Qatar Precision Health Institute is pleased to be part of this important platform, supporting scientific exchange and collaboration to advance precision health and human genetics. QPHI President Emmanouil (Manolis) Dermitzakis presented the ESHG Award to Tuuli Lappalainen, recognizing her outstanding contributions to human genetics and functional genomics. يجمع مؤتمر الجمعية الأوروبية لعلم الوراثة البشرية 2026 نخبة من الباحثين الدوليين في هذا المجال، ويغطي مواضيع رئيسية كعلم الجينوم السريري، والأومكس، والوراثة السكانية، والمعلوماتية الحيوية. يسرّ معهد قطر للرعاية الصحية الدقيقة أن يكون جزءًا من هذه المنصة المهمة، داعمًا التبادل العلمي والتعاون للنهوض بالطب الدقيق وعلم الوراثة البشرية. وقدّم رئيس المعهد الدكتور مانوليس ديرميتزاكيس جائزة الجمعية الأوروبية لعلم الوراثة البشرية إلى تولي لابالاينن، تقديرًا لإسهاماتها المتميزة في علم الوراثة البشرية والجينوم الوظيفي.

Qatar Precision Health Institute was pleased to participate in the 19th International HLA & Immunogenetics Workshop (IHIW19) in Numazu, Japan. Representing QPHI, Dr. Hamdi Mbarek and Dr. Dinesh Velayutham, PhD, to workshop discussions and scientific projects focused on HLA haplotype segregation, WGS-driven prediction, population diversity, machine learning, and the need for global multi-ethnic datasets and standardized validation approaches. يسرّ معهد قطر للرعاية الصحية الدقيقة تسليط الضوء على مشاركته في الورشة الدولية التاسعة عشرة لـ HLA والوراثة المناعية (IHIWS) في نومازو، اليابان. مثّل المعهد كلٌّ من الدكتور حمدي مبارك والدكتور دينيش فيلايوثام، حيث ساهما في نقاشات ومشاريع علمية ركّزت على الوراثة المناعية، والتسلسل الكامل للجينوم، وتنوّع HLA، وأهمية تطوير موارد جينومية أكثر شمولًا وتنوعًا. وتعكس هذه المشاركة التزام المعهد بدعم جهود الرعاية الصحية الدقيقة القائمة على البيانات الجينومية، وتعزيز أبحاث الجينوم العربي، وتوسيع التعاون الدولي.

عقد معهد قطر للرعاية الصحية الدقيقة ومؤسسة حمد الطبية ورشة عمل مشتركة حول برنامج إعادة النتائج الجينومية للمشاركين، ركزت على التطبيق السريري، ومسارات الإحالة، والحوكمة، والجاهزية التشغيلية. QPHI and HMC held a joint workshop on the Return of Genomic Findings Program for participants, focusing on clinical implementation, referral pathways, governance, and operational readiness.

بدأنا اليوم الجلسة التعريفية لمعهد قطر للرعاية الصحية الدقيقة بالتعاون مع قسم أبحاث التمريض والقبالة في مؤسسة حمد الطبية، للتعريف بفرص استفادة الباحثين من البيانات الضخمة وآلاف العينات.
