The Kerala Congress tweet asking CJI Surya Kant to resign was a blunt political response to his own public remark that law & order was “not my domain.” Deleting it, removing the employee, and issuing an unconditional apology was an unnecessary surrender. Filing a contempt petition over a deleted, disowned political statement risks turning free speech into a punishable offence. Judiciary must tolerate robust criticism. #FreeSpeech #ContemptOfCourt

Speak for yourself @parthpunter 😠 All the "2029" punter log are idiots‼️ Fresh Mid-Term Lok Sabha Elections – that is the WHOLE POINT. Boycott upcoming state polls. Effect ‘Regime Change’ through a mass movement. @AkshayMarathe @AdityaMenon22 @sarayupani @abhijeet_dipke

Use a mass "sit-in" protest to force this Government to resign and the current Election Commission to dissolve itself. Let there be fresh mid-term polls – free, fair, transparent & publicly verifiable elections. THAT is how you get 'Regime Change'. @Sanjay555 @ThatsHerPoint

Please don't stop talking about Upper Siang! We need you all to speak truth to the power and question inconsistencies 🙏🙏🙏
Will these people of Siang River valley whose villages are going to be submerged accept/relent if they are given prime plots of land in Lutyen's Delhi (say Race Course Road or Akbar Road) or in Mumbai (Nariman Point, Nepean Sea Road)?

If you’ve questioned the state's oppression of indigenous resistance against the Upper Siang Mega Project or supported the Gen Z protests, you’ve likely been attacked by pro-Modi and pro-Pema right-wingers. small dick energy labeling everyone a Chinese agent. Read this report and see why they’re dancing to the state's tune: ₹10 crore has been funneled purely into pro-SUMP publicity.

Now even legacy media is challenging the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act which severely weakens people’s right to information and curtails press freedom. The petition terms the provisions of the Act as “pre-censorship which is anathema to any democracy”. The DPDP Act in its current form should be repealed!
EXCLUSIVE: India’s biggest news publishers including Ambani's Network18, Adani's NDTV, Indian Express, Times Internet & others mount the most high-profile challenge yet to Modi’s privacy law, warning it would “render investigative journalism a benign and neutered recorder of events.” DNPA (@publishers_news) has taken the law to the Supreme Court. They argue it would trample investigative work and let New Delhi identify journalists’ sources. The provisions “constitute pre-censorship which is anathema to any democracy worth its name,” the group’s 698-page filing says. The key concerns: 🔹 Consent: requiring a journalist to notify the subject of an investigation and seek consent “would allow that subject to destroy evidence, intimidate witnesses” 🔹 Erasure: people can withdraw consent and demand their data be erased, which the group says could force publishers to unpublish or heavily redact news reports 🔹 Sources: a “nakedly unguided” power to demand information that “can extend to privileged communications in possession of a reporter or the informant” In a letter to the government, the group said India “has chosen to grant broad exemptions to the state, while failing to extend any corresponding protection to the press.” reuters.com/business/media-t…

Actually, make it mandatory body cams. Every developed nation does it, why not us?
Absolutely true. The Delhi police brutally beat up protesters in buses & police stations. They first snatched the phones of the protesters, so that the criminal brutality could not be recorded. Though police stations are required to have CCTVs, police buses don’t.! They must also be required to have CCTVs
