Colin Farrell says 'THE BATMAN 2' script is a "masterwork"
"It’s so brilliant and Robert [Pattinson]'s got such a lovely journey to go on and to take the audience through... It’s dense, it’s really really intelligent, it’s so detailed... It’s really extraordinary. I think he’s going to make an extraordinary film... Boy did [Matt Reeves] deliver."

‘THE BATMAN: PART 2’ co-writer Mattson Tomlin on finding “restorative joy” returning for the sequel
“The day the fandome trailer came out was the day I formally found out I wasn’t going to be credited on the first film. It was a very weird blend of emotions. Hard for me. I’ve spoken about it. Knowing that this time there can just be a restorative joy is very soothing to me.”

Matt Reeves says ‘THE BATMAN 2’ will focus more on Bruce Wayne than the first film, which focused on Batman.
“I knew the way [‘The Batman’] ended, it was leaving us on the precipice and also the way events sort of happen within [‘The Penguin’] that there is an exploration to be had. And one of the explorations for me was to do something that pushes even further into the character of Bruce Wayne because the first story is so much about The Batman.”
