It’s #PortfolioDay again already! Hi, I’m Nick and I’m a freelance illustrator & graphic designer. I enjoy sci-fi/fantasy, especially comic-style character art. I love to draw strips, posters, covers, etc. My DMs are open for commissions 💙 🎨 instagram: @NickSometimesDraws

20 years of #Torchwood! 🙌 I was 12 when it started and it was the first time I saw a genuine gay male romance develop on screen, so it was pretty formative in my early closet years! Gay + aliens? C’monnn Grateful for this brilliant, brilliant, craazy show 💙🏳️‍🌈

The part I hate most about AI is that I now approach art with suspicion instead of excitement and wonder

Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library was the best contribution to child literacy ever made by a celebrity. Our paths crossed once, in the 90s, backstage at a talk show, and I was completely tongue-tied and starstruck. RIP Dolly. You were a complete, irreplaceable one-off.

Happily found myself on Interview With The Vampire/Vampire Lestat twitter & i’m relieved to report large swathes of that fandom are perpetually unhappy with their favourite tv show as well

It’s ok to not have strong opinions on literally every word that comes out of a showrunner’s mouth 💙💙

On one hand, I can imagine RTD lying about never having written a script for the special. On the other hand, I can imagine the words he teased in DWM being part of a the idea while he was thinking: Am I fk writing a script for them for free when they cba to commission it yet 🤷‍♂️
