With Heavy hearts we grieve the loss of Timothy “Doc” Acklin. He succumbed to his fight with Cancer on the morning of May 23rd.
Tim was a pillar of the Athletic Training community in New Mexico for nearly 5 decades.
Tim worked tirelessly for the NMATA and served on the Board of Directors for all but two years of the organization's existence. Tim has served on the convention committee, three terms as the Southern Representative, one term as the Secretary/Treasurer,
two terms as the Vice President, and two terms as the President.
Tim is survived by his wife Jonann, and three children, Heather, Courtney, and Dustin.
