🚨ACADEMIC LEGACY: Miami University (Ohio - @MiamiOHabroad) is incorporating Beyoncé and JAY-Z's iconic “APESHIT” performance at the Louvre into its Winter 2027 study-abroad program in Paris, France. 🇫🇷🐝💎
Titled “Paris: Cultural Capital,” the three-week, 6-credit program examines Paris as a center of global artistic and cultural production, with students studying works spanning medieval literature, Surrealism and contemporary visual culture.
The university explicitly includes Beyoncé and JAY-Z's site-specific performance at the Louvre (@MuseeLouvre) alongside the work of artists and intellectuals including Picasso, Monet, Sartre and Gertrude Stein.
Through classroom study and cultural experiences in Paris, students examine how artistic expression intersects with history, identity and cultural influence.

Aesthetics do so much heavy lifting for y'all. Nothing in Solange's life or lifestyle gives "anti-capitalist". The only criteria you looked at was "not Beyonce" and her wearing an Afro sometimes😂😂😂

‼️ICYMI: #Beyoncé and the Knowles family have quietly maintained a nearly 20-year investment in permanent supportive housing and homelessness services in Houston.
In 2006, Beyoncé donated an initial $2M to help develop Knowles-Temenos Place following Hurricane Katrina.
Opening in 2009 with 43 apartments, it became Temenos CDC’s first permanent supportive housing property.
But that was the beginning of the work, not the end (please read full thread🧵).

🚨NEW: Ahead of #Beyoncé’s first year of Rock & Roll Hall of Fame eligibility, Rolling Stone has included her in its new look at the artists, scenes + trends shaping the present and future of rock.
Her entry: “Because Beyoncé’s Rock Era Is On The Way.”
What makes this interesting beyond the Act III speculation is that Beyoncé’s relationship with rock isn’t hypothetical. Her catalog already stretches from the rock-Grammy-nominated “Don’t Hurt Yourself” to Cowboy Carter’s engagement with Chuck Berry, Tina Turner, Prince + the Black roots of rock & roll.
So whether Act III actually turns out to be rock almost feels secondary. Rolling Stone is already including Beyoncé in its conversation about where rock goes next.

🚨NEW: #Beyoncé’s B’Day officially re-enters the Billboard 200 at #8 with 38,000 units following the release of its 20th Anniversary Edition. ✨🐝
And the historical context makes this one even better.
B’Day appears to have earned the BIGGEST Billboard 200 anniversary-edition week by a female artist in the modern equivalent-album era.
For comparison:
• Beyoncé — B’Day 20: #8, 38K
• Ariana Grande — Dangerous Woman 10: #21
• Lady Gaga — Born This Way 10: #162
Even Madonna’s Finally Enough Love, a new career-spanning remix compilation rather than an album anniversary reissue, debuted at #8 with 30K.
And among anniversary reissues OVERALL, B’Day now sits in rare company with massive anniversary campaigns from The Beatles and Linkin Park, while surpassing the 37K week generated by Michael Jackson’s Thriller 40.
The original B’Day debuted at #1 in 2006.
Twenty years later, it’s back in the Top 10.
That’s LONGEVITY. #BDAY20
