This first-grade teacher says 100% of her students went to kindergarten, and almost all of them have both parents at home. A bunch of them even went to pre-K. Yet somehow these kids still can’t write the alphabet or count. She can’t fail them. She can’t hold them back. So they just keep getting pushed to the next grade, year after year. No Child Left Behind was the biggest disaster the education system has ever produced, and parents have stopped parenting, expecting schools to do it all for their children.
