On the National Day of Commemoration, members of the 128th Infantry Battalion serving with UNIFIL gathered at the Tibnine Monument to honour the memory of all Irish Defence Forces personnel who have made the ultimate sacrifice in the service of peace.
Standing in quiet reflection, our personnel paid tribute to those who served before them, remembering their courage, commitment and selfless service while reaffirming the enduring legacy of Irish peacekeeping overseas.
