Around 20 ballistic and Zircon missiles were launched already. The targets are people’s homes and churches. The attack is still ongoing.
This is one of the most famous churches in Kyiv — Kyiv Pechersk Lavra. Russia tried to make it its own and even looted it. When that failed, they decided to burn it down.

Trevor Noah pointed out that Germany doesn’t hide what it did during WW2. In fact, it openly displays monuments and teaches children about that history to make sure future generations do not repeat those mistakes.
Moscow did the same thing, occupying land and killing alongside Hitler, but it never stopped waging wars because it was treated as a hero instead of being held accountable for its crimes.
Russia should NOT be accepted as a member of the international community until it acknowledges its crimes and educates its people about them.
Right now, it does the opposite. Children are taught that this is how things should be. They are told that all this pain, bloodshed, and killing are necessary.
We cannot expect lasting peace from a society that is taught to see such things as acceptable and even honorable.
