Elliot Anderson vs Wealdstone FC next season.
🚨 EXCLUSIVE: Manchester City found guilty on virtually all charges relating to breaches of Premier League financial regulations. #MCFC expected to appeal against verdict issued by independent commission. Sanctions undecided, process ongoing @TheAthleticFC nytimes.com/athletic/7049721…
"I don’t want to speak too much about it because I don’t want to get myself into trouble"
Give a fuck about the "trouble". Everyone should be speaking about it.
🚨 Virgil van Dijk reacts to Brobbey’s injury:
🗣️“This has been the complaint of almost every footballer, but FIFA doesn’t seem to listen. We just finished the World Cup a few months ago, so what’s the rush with having international games again so soon?
It’s too much workload on the players. Brobbey was in amazing form, and now he’s injured. How do you expect players not to get injured when they play a game on Sunday and then another one just a few days later?
It’s bizarre. I don’t want to speak too much about it because I don’t want to get myself into trouble, but FIFA really needs to look into the schedule. The players are the ones paying the price.”
This randomly popped in my head earlier, bumping it for the first time in years. So good.
"My Dad said; Son, you're not supposed to win. When you understand that, you understand everything. You're not supposed to win, you were never supposed to win. So win everything".
RIP Ty
#NFFC scouting the lower leagues for hidden talent late in the transfer window. I hear they've identified Dan Deale and Silleh Munneh as prime targets.
I don't know what's more annoying on here. The moaners moaning about #NFFC or the non-moaners moaning about the moaners moaning.
Guarantee all of the negative comments in this thread were also the same people saying the money we spent on Elliot Anderson was a mistake. Trust the process.
🚨 EXCL: Nottingham Forest working on deal to sign Harrison Armstrong from Everton. Talks for 19yo centre on ~£40m deal + sell-on clause to #EFC. England youth international targeted by #NFFC to strengthen midfield after Elliot Anderson exit @TheAthleticFC nytimes.com/athletic/7547650…
Is Milenkovic injured or being preserved for a potential sale? #NFFC

Man is the most insane species. He worships an invisible God and destroys a visible Nature. Unaware that this Nature he’s destroying is this God he’s worshiping. - Hubert Reeves

Half of England is in drought after record-breaking heatwaves, yet most of our media want to talk about the "problem" of refugees whilst giving airtime to absurd & dehumanising policies from Reform UK.
Politicians who scapegoat refugees and migrants have no interest in making your life better.
If they really cared, they would take on corporations holding this country to ransom.
They would end the daylight robbery of privatisation.
And they would tackle the real cause of society's problems: a grotesquely unequal economy that sucks wealth away from the majority to an elite few.
