Wasn’t his usual role but I remember Andrew Hall scoring 160 in about 1000000 balls batting nearly two full days against India the one year.😂

There’s something deeply unSouth African about an aggressive opening test batsman.

An observation I heard via @wearetherace podcast is that while one might say these regs do not suit Russell relative to Antonelli - Antonelli had actually started to catch George and tighten the screws performance wise around this time last year with Brazil a case in point

Obviously Russell is dying for my advice… Whilst I’d obviously give it another go next year, if the pattern of falling further behind continues I’d give serious consideration to signing a pre contract at Aston Martin for Alonso’s seat

Genuinely think they want Antonelli to win it on track then pull the trigger. They don’t want an accounting champion, as it were, But they definitely want the money too, lmao

Vernon Philander has a pretty big mouth while just being a South African Stuart Clark He thinks we don’t remember the stinker he dropped in the 2014 series decider, at his home Cape Town, which SA lost 32 overs, 158 runs, 1 wicket #SAvAUS

South Africa’s fast bowling pedigree is incredible. Steyn, Philander, Jansen and Rabada all in the top 7 fastest to 100 wickets by balls bowled.

In F1 history only 3 drivers have been able to win a WDC against a teammate who had perviously beaten them to the title: -Fangio over Farina in 1951 -Prost in 1985 over Lauda and Prost over Senna in 1989 -Rosberg over Hamilton in 2016 Not looking good for Russell and Piastri

It's a tragedy Senna didn't live longer. We deserved a full career of him being ragebaited by rookies Imagine he'd stayed into his 40s and met Montoya 😭

I hope we win Saturday and go on a madness the rest of the season. Will never hope united lose games or hope a manager gets sacked Much rather the opposite as an actual United fan. The players need to learn they just can’t get a manager sacked whenever they like. If I was Carrick, I’d be creating my own bomb squad and playing the kids and whoever else is still with him.

Man Utd have to be brave here and say Carrick is staying long-term. Back him big time. Can’t have a media feeding frenzy every weekend based on next result. Players have to know manager is going nowhere , so either put in hard yards or be axed.
