So weird that CD PROJEKT red had a breakaway company create a game with a mechanic that fits this conceit so well. I think Cyberpunk was meant to have a timer and they cut it.

/ cyberpunk 2077's biggest issue is a disconnect. you unlock certain gigs / jobs at either street cred levels or throughout the story, but the game acts like you don't have time for any of that. phantom liberty feels like something that should be in act 3, the literal last resort
