### 🇬🇧 THE BANK OF ENGLAND IS GETTING SERIOUS ABOUT STABLECOINS 👀 Something important is happening in the UK’s financial system. The UK government plans to give the **Bank of England a new secondary objective** focused on supporting innovation in **stablecoins, digital currencies and payment systems**. Financial stability will remain the Bank’s primary responsibility. But this change sends a much bigger signal: **The UK wants stablecoins to become part of the future of payments.** 🇬🇧 The government plans to introduce the new objective through an amendment to the **Financial Services and Markets Act**. And the Bank of England would be required to report to Parliament every year on its progress in promoting innovation across payments and digital currencies. Meanwhile, the UK is working toward a regulatory framework covering: 💷 Traditional payments 🪙 Stablecoins 🏦 Tokenised deposits 🤖 AI-powered payments And the stablecoin market is already growing rapidly. 📊 Global stablecoin market → around **$303B** 📈 Up from roughly **$200B** at the beginning of last year The Bank of England has also moved away from its earlier proposed limits on how much stablecoin individuals and businesses could hold. Instead, it plans a temporary **£40B issuance cap for each systemic stablecoin.** At the same time, the FCA is preparing its own regulatory framework for crypto companies and stablecoin issuers, with firms able to apply for authorisation from **30 September**, ahead of the planned regime launch in **October 2027**. So this isn't simply another crypto regulation story. It could be the beginning of something much bigger: **Stablecoins moving from the crypto industry into mainstream financial infrastructure.** And the UK clearly wants to be part of that transition. The question is: **Will London become one of the world’s leading hubs for regulated stablecoins and digital payments?** 👀 I’ll continue tracking **UK crypto regulation, stablecoins, the Bank of England, FCA policy, institutional adoption and digital payments.** **Do you think stablecoins will eventually become a normal part of everyday payments in the UK?** 🇬🇧 Follow for more **Crypto market updates.**

### 🇬🇧 AI AGENTS MAY NEED THEIR OWN CURRENCY — AND IT PROBABLY WON’T BE FIAT 👀 **What happens when AI agents start making payments on their own?** That question is becoming much more serious. OKX Europe CEO **Erald Ghoos** believes an **“AI currency”** could eventually emerge — and he thinks it is unlikely to be traditional fiat money. Instead, it could be a **stablecoin or another crypto-based token** designed specifically for AI agents. And the potential market could be enormous. Why? Because AI agents need something humans already take for granted: 💰 **The ability to own and move money.** Traditional banking systems require identity verification and human-controlled accounts. AI agents can’t simply walk into a bank and open an account. But crypto wallets? They are programmable, borderless and available 24/7. That makes crypto a natural candidate for what some are calling a **“machine banking system.”** And this could change how payments work. Imagine AI agents being able to: 🤖 Pay for software 🤖 Purchase data 🤖 Hire computing power 🤖 Settle transactions 🤖 Trade with other AI agents 🤖 Make cross-border payments — without human approval every time But there’s a much bigger question: ### **WHOSE CURRENCY WILL AI USE?** A US-based AI agent could use a dollar stablecoin. But what about an AI agent in China? Would the global AI economy really depend on a currency controlled by one country? That’s where the idea of a **neutral machine currency** becomes interesting. It could potentially operate across borders without being directly tied to one nation's economic or political interests. And the opportunity could be huge. Juniper Research forecasts that **agentic commerce could generate $1.5 TRILLION globally by 2030.** But before AI agents can transact at scale, the industry still needs to solve: 🔐 Trust 🪪 Identity ✅ Authorisation 💳 Payment infrastructure 🌍 Cross-border settlement So perhaps the biggest crypto story of the next decade won't simply be: **“Will Bitcoin go higher?”** It could be: **“What money will the world’s AI agents use?”** 👀 If AI agents really become autonomous economic participants, **crypto wallets and stablecoins could become part of the financial infrastructure they use to operate.** I’ll be watching **AI + Crypto, stablecoins, agentic commerce, institutional adoption and the future of digital payments.** **Would you trust an AI agent to hold and spend your money without asking you first?** 🤖💰

🚨 BTC just dropped below $78,000 as hawkish comments from Warsh added fresh pressure to the market. But for me, the bigger question isn’t simply why Bitcoin is falling. I’m watching three things next: 📉 Whether Treasury yields continue to rise 💵 Whether liquidity keeps tightening 📊 Whether buyers step in and defend the key levels A sharp move can create panic, but it can also reveal where real demand is waiting. I’ll keep tracking the market signals, liquidity shifts and potential entry opportunities before they become obvious. What are you watching next? 👀

This is exactly why crypto regulation and corporate governance matter. Allegations involving executives, regulators and major sponsors can quickly become a much bigger issue than one company.
Radosław Piesiewicz, president of the Polish Olympic Committee, has been arrested in an investigation into crypto exchange Zondacrypto, as prosecutors examine whether he received a financial benefit from the crypto boss. Justice Minister and Prosecutor General Waldemar Żurek confirmed the arrest and said further information would follow after Piesiewicz was questioned. Prosecutors have not disclosed any charges at the time of writing, though media outlets suggest Piesiewicz received bribes from the exchange. A joint investigation by Wirtualna Polska and TVN24 alleged that Zondacrypto chief Przemysław Kral gave Piesiewicz a Patek Philippe watch worth about 40,000 euros ($46,600) and other gifts in return for help with the exchange’s problems with Poland’s competition regulator. Piesiewicz denied receiving the watch as a gift, saying he paid for it in cash and Kral only helped arrange the purchase. Polish Justice Minister Żurek said the watch was one of the elements prosecutors would examine. Zondacrypto became the Olympic committee’s general sponsor in October under an agreement covering 2026 through 2028. Prosecutors said this week they were investigating a possible financial benefit given to Piesiewicz alongside several other payments and financing relationships involving the exchange. The broader investigation opened in April over suspected fraud and money laundering at Zondacrypto. Prosecutors said the exchange’s owner acknowledged it had, for years, lacked access to a cold wallet holding about 4,500 bitcoin, while estimated customer losses stood at no less than 350 million zlotys ($94 million). Authorities had received more than 3,600 complaints by June and have since secured more than 100 million zlotys for potential compensation. The investigation was merged last month with a probe into the 2022 disappearance of Sylwester Suszek, who founded Zondacrypto’s predecessor BitBay.

This is the key question: are institutions buying the dip while retail investors get nervous? If ETF inflows remain positive, I wouldn’t dismiss the possibility of another push toward $80K
### 🇬🇧 BTC PULLS BACK — BUT INSTITUTIONAL MONEY IS STILL BUYING 👀 Bitcoin briefly broke above the **$81K** level. Today, BTC has pulled back to around **$78.5K**, down roughly **2% over the past 24 hours**. But one thing has caught my attention: 💰 **US spot BTC ETFs saw $314M in net inflows yesterday** 🔥 **August BTC ETF inflows have now reached around $3.03B** 📈 **ETH ETFs also recorded roughly $180M in net inflows** 🐋 **ETF flows for both BTC and ETH remain positive** So while the price is cooling… **Institutional demand hasn’t disappeared.** And that creates an interesting setup. BTC is currently trading around the **$78K–$79K zone**. If this area holds → another attempt at **$80K+** could become very interesting. If it breaks down → attention could shift toward the **$75K–$77K area**. After such a strong rally, a pullback doesn’t automatically mean the trend has turned bearish. **Are institutions using this pullback to accumulate — or is ETF demand finally starting to slow?** 👀 **Is BTC simply taking a breather before another attempt at $80K — or does the market need a deeper reset first?** Follow for the next update. 🇬🇧

Digital asset manager Bitwise said it is offering automated portfolios of tokenized stocks, allowing eligible investors to hold and automatically rebalance baskets of U.S. equities directly in their crypto wallets. The products, called Automated Token Portfolios (ATPs), use Coinbase's recently debuted tokenized U.S. stocks, with portfolio technology provider Glider handling the rebalancing based on models designed by Bitwise. They are available only to eligible investors outside the U.S. The initial lineup includes portfolios focused on AI, robotics and an expanded version of the Magnificent Seven. The latter equally weights Apple (AAPL), Microsoft (MSFT), Nvidia (NVDA), Alphabet (GOOG), Amazon (AMZN), Meta (META) and Tesla (TSLA) alongside SpaceX (SPCX). Bitwise’s move marks an example of what firms can build on top of tokenized equities beyond simply recreating stock trading on blockchain rails. Instead of buying into an ETF or another pooled fund via a brokerage account, investors keep the individual stocks in their crypto wallet while software adjusts the portfolio to follow a professional manager's model."For over a century, getting a professional model meant handing your assets to a fund," Bitwise Chief Investment Officer Matt Hougan said. "ATPs mean you can keep the assets in your own wallet, and the model comes to you." The announcement comes a day after Coinbase debuted tokenized versions of Apple, Nvidia, Meta and Alphabet on Base. Coinbase said more stocks are coming, and Bitwise's portfolios offer a hint at potential additions: Microsoft, Amazon, Tesla, SpaceX and Sandisk are also included in its models. Coinbase hasn't confirmed its next batch. The products also expand Bitwise beyond the crypto ETFs for which the $9 billion asset manager is best known. It has recently moved into DeFi vault curation, another form of onchain asset management. Glider, meanwhile, is a specialist of automated portfolios, and earlier this year teamed up with Ondo Finance to offer personalized portfolios using Ondo's tokenized stock offerings.

### 🇬🇧 CRYPTO IS ENTERING POLITICS 🚨 **£20 MILLION. That’s the number getting attention in the UK today.** New analysis of Electoral Commission data shows that **Reform UK has received around £20M from cryptocurrency-linked investors since 2024.** That represents roughly **60% of the party’s donations** over the period. And the money is heavily concentrated: 🐋 **Christopher Harborne → £15M** 💰 **Ben Delo → £4M** 💷 **Maria Rost → £1.125M** But here’s the bigger question: **Why is crypto money becoming such a major force in political funding?** This isn’t just a UK political story. It raises a much bigger issue for the crypto industry: 📌 Will governments become more crypto-friendly? 📌 Will political parties compete for support from crypto investors? 📌 And where does the line between legitimate political funding and crypto influence get drawn? The UK government has already moved toward tighter rules around crypto political donations, with the Rycroft Review recommending a moratorium on cryptoasset political donations earlier this year. **Crypto is no longer just a financial story.** It’s increasingly becoming a **political story, too.** 👀 I’ll keep tracking the intersection of **Crypto × Regulation × Politics × Big Money**. **Do you think crypto is gaining political influence — or is this simply wealthy investors putting their money where they see opportunity?** #Crypto #Bitcoin #Ethereum #UKPolitics #CryptoNews #Regulation #Web3 #Blockchain #BitcoinNews *For informational purposes only. BITCOIN IS AT A CRITICAL LEVEL RIGHT NOW. 👀 Bitcoin has reclaimed the $75,000 to $78,500 zone. Now the market has a very clear decision point: 📈 Hold above $75K to $78.5K Next major target: $90K 📉 Lose this zone Next downside area: $66K This is why I’m watching price structure rather than simply chasing momentum. Hold the zone, and the bullish setup gets stronger. Lose the zone, and the entire structure changes. The next few sessions could be extremely important for BTC. Bullish breakout or another rejection? 👀

🇬🇧 THE MARKET JUST GOT A LOT MORE INTERESTING. ₿ Bitcoin has pushed towards $80K. And market sentiment has completely changed. 📈 BTC → ~$77K 🟢 Fear & Greed → 72 (Greed) 💰 BTC ETF inflows → ~$1.6B this week ⚡ $4.3B+ shorts liquidated But here's what I'm watching: Greed is back. And that's exactly when I become more selective. A strong rally creates opportunity — but it also creates FOMO. So I'm watching: 🎯 $80K — can BTC break and hold it? 📊 Volume — are buyers still in control? 💰 ETF flows — is institutional demand continuing? 🔥 Altcoins — is liquidity finally rotating? I don't chase the green candles. I watch the structure. I wait for confirmation. Then I manage the risk. The market can move quickly. The question is not whether you are bullish. It's whether you understand what is driving the move.

BTC above $73K could be more than a Bitcoin story. If liquidity keeps flowing, the next question is whether ETH and altcoins can follow. 👀

🚨 THE CRYPTO MARKET JUST WOKE UP. ₿ Yesterday, I said: Learn first. Understand the market. Build your strategy. Today, Bitcoin is trading around $72.5K, pushing further above the $70K level and keeping the broader crypto market firmly in focus. But here's what matters to me: I don't want to simply tell you “Bitcoin is going up.” I want to understand WHY. 📈 Treasury buybacks — could improving liquidity support risk appetite? 🏛️ Crypto regulation — growing policy clarity remains a key catalyst ₿ BTC above $72K — can bulls defend these levels? ⚡ Short covering — could further liquidations add fuel to the move? 💰 Liquidity — is capital genuinely returning to crypto? This is exactly why I believe understanding the market matters more than chasing the next candle. A strong move can create opportunity. It can also create FOMO. So today I'm watching: 🎯 $72K–$73K — can BTC hold above this zone? 📊 Volume — is the breakout backed by real participation? 💵 Liquidity — is money continuing to flow into risk assets? ₿ Altcoins — are they confirming Bitcoin's strength? The market moves fast. Your understanding needs to move faster. Learn first. Trade with a plan. Manage your risk. Stay ahead of the market. 🇬🇧 UK WELFARE REFORM: WHAT ACTUALLY CHANGES? Reform UK has unveiled one of the biggest proposed shake-ups of the welfare system in decades — and the numbers are significant. The party says its package could cut welfare spending by more than £50 billion a year. But what are they actually proposing? Here are the big changes: 🔹 PIP would be replaced for working-age claimants, alongside changes to the health element of Universal Credit. 🔹 A new Health Security Allowance would focus cash support on people with severe and enduring health conditions. 🔹 People with lower-level disabilities could instead receive a Disability Support Account, administered through local authorities. 🔹 Long-term unemployed people could face 20 hours a week of community work or risk losing benefits. 🔹 Reform wants to restrict most welfare benefits to British citizens, which it estimates could save around £21bn a year by year five. 🔹 Employers could be required to provide “Return to Work Cover”, effectively shifting more of the cost of long-term sickness back towards employers. The political argument is obvious: Reform says the current system is too expensive and discourages people from returning to work. Critics argue the proposals could push vulnerable people into hardship, and question whether the projected savings are realistic. And there's another major issue: Restricting benefits for EU citizens with settled status could require renegotiating parts of the Brexit Withdrawal Agreement, potentially affecting British citizens living elsewhere in Europe. So this isn't just about welfare. It's about taxes, labour markets, employers, immigration, public spending and ultimately the size of the British state. The £50bn figure is the headline. But the bigger question is: Can Reform actually deliver those savings without creating bigger costs somewhere else? That's the part I'm watching. What do you think? 🇬🇧 Necessary reform — or too aggressive? #UKPolitics #ReformUK #UKEconomy #WelfareReform #BritishEconomy #UKNews #Politics #Economics #MarketInsight

Metaplanet launching U.S. bitcoin treasury company with investment in Super League In somewhat of a shocking development, given the disastrous aftermath of the 2025 bitcoin treasury company bubble, Japanese bitcoin treasury company Metaplanet is opening up a U.S. outlet. The company announced on Tuesday morning that it will contribute 2,100 BTC ($132 million) and $2.5 million to Nasdaq-listed Super League (SLE) in exchange for common stock, preferred stock and warrants, for an initial investment of approximately $134.6 million. In shades of the 2025 mania, the nanocap SLE ($4.5 million market cap) is higher by 120% in pre-market trading. Super League will become Superplanet, Metaplanet’s U.S. bitcoin treasury platform, while retaining its gaming media business. Metaplanet will own about 95.7% of outstanding shares. Closing is expected in the fourth quarter, subject to shareholder, regulatory and other approvals. The transaction gives Metaplanet a Nasdaq-listed U.S. vehicle to raise capital and expand its bitcoin treasury strategy across American and Japanese markets, said CEO Simon Gerovich.
