Damn @RunYourRaceTL
D'Angelo Russell says the Warriors were chasing 73 and ESPN aired his losing Lakers team instead because it was Kobe's last game and he dropped 60
Theo: "The Warriors was about to break the Bulls' record, and the game they showed on ESPN was the Lakers."
DLo: "Was Kobe. Yes, 100%. I remember that."
Theo: "Everybody came to that. They was the Warriors, who cares about that? They wanted to come see Kobe last [game]. And then he put up 60. I went to bed that night like, I'm content."
AJ: "What did we just watch?"

Chris Paul described being traded from the Rockets to the OKC Thunder in 2019 & his mindset during his commencement address for @Morehouse:
“The mission is always bigger than you. Once, I got traded, and I found out on ESPN. Not even a phone call…
I wanted to channel my energy in a productive way. I got in the gym. I got to work. Then, I called the [GM] in Oklahoma to get every teammates number. I’m all in.
I never went into a game thinking I would lose. As long as I’m on the court, we damn sure got a chance.”
