These pics were taken just days ago. Kyle Busch was such a trooper. Most of us are usually laid up with a cold. This man was WINNING truck races and having some the best runs this season WITH severe pneumonia. We already knew KB was a bad ass, but the man was tough as nails. 🏁😞

Couldn't have happened to a better person and entertainer. Neal and his entire crew are all amazing people and this opera membership was long overdue. Congratulations, man!

On Monday, May 17th, my Mama, Katrina, was diagnosed with Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (CLL). Like many of you who’ve walked this road, I had a million questions and not enough answers. We’re still processing, still learning, and there’s a lot left to figure out. I’ve been sad. I’ve been mad. I’ve cussed, cried, and sat in silence trying to wrap my head around it. But through it all, one thing remains clear: this woman is the toughest person I’ve ever known. Mama has pushed through days when she had nothing left to give. After losing my brother Shannon in 2012, I watched a mighty big piece of her leave with him. The grandkids brought some light back into her eyes, and every now and then I still catch a glimpse of the Mama I remember... smiling... full of life... even if it’s just for a moment. Those moments mean everything when they become so rare. For years she poured her heart into that beauty shop. She didn’t just cut hair. She built self-confidence in people. She made people feel beautiful and seen. So many loyal clients became like family to us. They’d drive for miles just to sit in her chair. “Your mama is the only one I let touch my hair,” I can’t count how many times I heard that. She paid for our back-to-school clothes and shoes with those long days and late nights. She showed up ready for those long high school prom days, late night funeral home visits, and everything in between. That beauty shop raised me, and so many of people became part of our family through it. In recent years the “bad days” started to outnumber the good. Her cooking (chicken and dumplings, meatloaf, fried okra, fried salmon patties, and homemade biscuits…) took a backseat. Depression settled in. But she kept going as best she could. Now we finally have answers. This leukemia isn’t curable, but it is treatable. She had CT scans this past Thursday, and we’ll know more soon. Her first infusions start June 18th. I’m asking for your prayers as she begins this new chapter and learns her new normal. I’m also planning to set up some fundraising to help with travel, hotel stays, fuel, food, bills, and anything else we need to keep her comfortable. Mama gave everything for us growing up. It’s my turn to take care of her. If you have ideas, suggestions, or want to help in any way, please reach out. Even just keeping her in your prayers means more than you know. Thank you for being part of our story over the years. This woman has touched so many lives, and I’m incredibly proud to be her son. I love you, Mama. We’ve got this. 💕

Absolutely devastated to hear of the passing of Kyle Busch. My heart goes out to all of our friends at RCR, Kyle's family, and the rest of the people impacted by this untimely departure. The weekend here Charlotte just really took a heartbreaking turn. 41 is just too young...
