growing up, my friends and I loved music so much that discovering new artists across different genres became competitive. But the beautiful part was how we couldn’t wait to play our finds for each other. Every discovery came with the thought: “oh my God, I can’t wait until they hear this shit.” and seeing my niggas react to the same part of a song or detail in its production that you fell in love with was second to none.
