Why is it difficult for 2K to detect cheaters? 2 words: COMPUTER VISION Computer Vision cheats and why it's basically invisible to a PS5/Xbox. 1/ The console is clean. The cheat is on a computer sitting next to it, watching your TV through a capture card or Remote Play. The console never knows it exists. 2/ It watches the meter like a human would. It finds the shot meter and the little shot icon on screen with pixel templates. Dial, arrow, straight bar, pill. It follows the meter frame by frame and releases on the spot. 3/ Then it presses the button... through a controller. A fake virtual controller pretends to be a DualSense/Xbox controller. To the console it's all the same thing: "the player pressed Square." Your thumb and the cheat look identical to the game. 4/ Normal jumper, fade, L2, free throw, layup, dunk, hop, rhythm shot. Every single one has its own recognition rules and its own timing. It ships with a no-meter mode. Separate on/off switches for icon, meter and no-meter. With the meter gone it watches the little shot icon that pops when your shot starts and fires on a set delay from there. And even with every overlay gone, your player still rises, sets and releases on screen. Anything you can time by eye, a camera on the video feed can time too. Taking the meter away removes one of its eyes. Not its hands. 6/ It's built to NOT look like a bot. Each shot type has its own Release Delay, Timing and Tempo. There's an "adaptive timing adjustment" that literally says "learning" while it tunes itself in milliseconds. The settings even coach the user: shooting early, raise Release Delay. Shooting late, raise Sync Value. And the rhythm and special shot motions are generated from a random seed every time. The stick path is never the same twice. 7/ So it greens every shot, but never on the same spot in the green, and never with the same motion. That kills the one tell everyone assumes. "Nobody is that consistent." This thing is deliberately a little less consistent than a machine. 14K+ list of cheaters in known cheating discords available at builderlab.us/fair-play Report and view cheaters.
