i’ve written about it in the past but i feel like now it would hit more ears so to speak. there are basically two categories of covenants, those that are all about the Kaspa they protect (eg vaults, timelocks, escrow etc) and those that are about the state they carry which essentially forms another mini social consensus (eg name services, native kcc20 tokens, and whatnot). one might typically call these stateful covenants but that’s not the full story instead of diving straight in, i’d like to hear from you. how do you understand the difference between the two categories, conceptually as well as what are the technical implications resulting from the differences

đŸ’Ș....Found another badass KASPA educational video...the original creator has been making these very informative and presented in such a way that normies can wrap our heads around blockDAG structure and understand the ins and outs of Kaspa peeps. Study up sisters and brothers. The world is changing before our eyes and we are in a unique position to be a part of this revolution incoming. Kaspians lead the way. Ya'll got a for real Kaspa rider here big dawgs. I am grateful to ALL ours. Be free. #Share #Repost #Educate #GOTDAG style. Shout out to the homie here "Kaspa Army". I haven't forgotten to look at ZKas....just been bust getting Nilla across the line. Let's continue to lift one another up and always be learning and growing as a community. We are the community. NOT ONLY the accounts with a bazillion followers. NOT ONLY the OG coders and original DEV's, although we are humble and grateful for ALL who blazed the trail. Silverscript is open source. Argent is here. Covenants are free to build new amazing dApps with. What can we do with it all???? IDK....but we are certainly gonna build and find out. Just getting warmed up right now and man... I haven't even revealed the "GEM" yet...LMFAO. "BlockDAG Domains" will bring ALL the GOTDAG products full circle. Stay tuned. We haven't even been discovered yet peeps đŸ€Ł... so excited for what the future holds. I'll be here. Who's with me? Gonna be being a lot more deliberate about building ways for the little guys to compete and have our voices heard....together we are undeniable. Kaspa Union? We are gonna figure this shit out...I KNOW that! Bet on that playas. God bless you and yours, brothers and sisters. We are only now beginning the ascent. GOTDAG energy! Let's effin' goooooo. F'n KKDAG is still pre-bonding curve. I'll never shill the token but man, 21 million supply and soon will be truly deflationary. Trust the Tokenomics Vault dApp is the next to hit the spotlight and be ready for independent review soon. I found a no nonsense Kaspian willing to deep dive our product. HERE....WE....GO!

Why do you think #Satoshi moved on to other things after bitcoin:native ? đŸ’„Study kaspa:native and find outđŸ’„

#Satoshi is gathering more kaspa:native
Entity X continues accumulating $KAS. The wallet has received another 4.36M KAS from Bitget, adding to a series of recent exchange withdrawals.

The cornerstone has been set kaspa:native
Covenants got their paperwork yesterday. Today they got birth certificates. Argent now ships genesis proofs: a verifiable link from a covenant id back to its source code and deploy params. Sutton expects every stateful covenant to carry one. Etherscan verification, for stateful covenants. Meanwhile the .k indexer source landed (@supertypo_kas, v1.0.0), KCC-20 awaits a reference implementation (@manyfest_), and @biryukovmaxim dropped two vprogs prover PRs. The covenant era is growing up.

kaspa:native wasn’t on my work calendar today BUT Zero-knowledge proofs were. I work at a large bank in the USA as a senior IT director. Look at the meeting title: “Zero-Knowledge Proofs: Privacy Without Compromise.” Kaspa can verify ZK proofs on L1. Now imagine an AI agent proving it’s authorized to make a payment without exposing everything about the person behind it. I’m not saying my bank is using Kaspa. I’m asking @hashdag @michaelsuttonil and KII @KaspaKii who’s building that use case on $KAS?

Who is Michael Sutton, one of the minds behind Kaspa's Rust node? @michaelsuttonil is a Kaspa core developer. He holds a master's in computer science from the Hebrew University, where he researched parallel algorithms and distributed systems, the science of software running across many machines at once. Alongside @OriNewman, he was one of the main developers who rebuilt Kaspa's node software, the program that runs the network, moving it from Go to Rust. In 2022, he and Yonatan Sompolinsky (@hashdag) co-authored DAGKnight, which builds on GHOSTDAG, the rules $KAS uses to order blocks. DAGKnight is not live yet. It is listed as an upcoming hard fork, a rule change that every node must adopt.

Imagine a world post vProgs on Kaspa Banks and corporates keep their ledgers. Payments, collateral, and tokenized assets settle on Kaspa in seconds, with ZK so counterparts see proof, not the book. Health records stay in the hospital. Kaspa anchors consent, access, and record hashes. Auditable, portable, still HIPAA-shaped. Elections stay with election authorities. Ballots are encrypted. Kaspa verifies the tally and the count, not the voter list. Governments keep their agencies. Identity, permits, and budgets become shared proofs instead of one agency’s spreadsheet. Fortune 500s do not migrate ERP onto a chain. They pin the events that matter — settlement, title, compliance — to a neutral clock no single firm controls. vProgs are the missing piece: programs that scale without turning the blockDAG into a hard drive. Data stays where the law requires. Truth settles on Kaspa. The digital infrastructure of the future has arrived. Study $KAS

This is only the beginning $KAS
argent now has a first implementation of covenant genesis proofs: github.com/argent-lang/argen
idk how to emphasize this enough, but i expect *every stateful covenant* deployed on kaspa to eventually provide such a proof. the goal is a verifiable link from a covenant id back to the source code, deployment parameters, and genesis state that produced it. we should strive for an ecosystem where explorers expose this proof data for every covenant id they discover onchain, assuming its deployers want public trust. think of it as the analogue of contract verification on etherscan, extended to stateful covenants: you should be able to inspect what a covenant is, audit the code behind it, and verify how it was instantiated. kudos to @supertypo_kas for being an early-bird example of such a proper deployment process: github.com/supertypo/dotk-in
(not sure if the sil contracts themselves are public yet)

Being a $BTC maxi is what sold me $KAS
kaspa:native is one of the most undervalued assets on earth right now. As a Bitcoiner, I’m constantly questioned on why I talk about Kaspa so much. The answer is simple. Bitcoin is gold, Kaspa is silver. That analogy is baked into the core ethos of both of them. It goes beyond the monetary properties. Like gold, Bitcoin is basically a pure store of value play. Like silver, Kaspa has store of value properties and industrial uses. Silver: Electronics, Solar panels, EVs, Brazing/soldering, Batteries, Medical, Chemical catalysts, etc. Kaspa: Payment/Micropayments, Store of value, Tokens (KRC-20), NFTs, Settlement layer, Smart contracts (in development) The parallels are many, solidifying the pair as the modern equivalent of the historical bimetallic standard. Only they’re unburdened by pegged exchange rate. A free floating exchange ratio lets the market price each individually and prevents arbitrage. Kaspa has a real chance at breaking into the top 10. If you don’t believe that, tell me why. Let’s battle test my thesis. ⚔
