People have so much trust in LLMs. It blows my mind. Don't get me wrong. I love it. I use the hell out of it... in a container.

It's 41 degrees and snowing!? Not something I'm used to in NE Ohio.

Silly headaches at 4:45 on Friday. Import some pages for a client. On 1 page, all the text and links are orange. WordPress adds page names as classes. The page name: Orange. I had no idea the site had color-based utility classes. I hate utility classes.

I hate utility classes. But they're pretty nice when using an LLM to write your code.

It's really aggravating to see great plugins pushing more and more features that have little to do with their core function.

I'm looking for updates on #WordPress Gutenberg and FSE. The challenge is finding a source that isn't a fanboy but isn't as anti as I am. Any suggestions?

I'm not going to point fingers. But if your productivity tool has a column named "Last Updated", it would make a lot of sense for it to track updates. It's in the name.

I don't get Scrum. It feels like a method for boomers and micromanagers who want to say they're following modern best practices... at least in the dev world. Kanban seems 1000x better.

I watched my wife getting thoroughly frustrated in the #WordPress block editor yesterday. I saw what she was doing and asked if she knew what padding and margin were. “No!” she said. Hmmm… if that’s the case, why are we letting users loose in the block editor? 🤔

Command line: how much of it is done because it is better/faster/stronger, and how much of it is done because it feels like being a developer? #DevLife #developers

Let me sum up my experience using AI with this Copilot gem. I asked how to disable Copilot Agents. After needing 3 tries to convince it that I meant Copilot agents, it gave me bad instructions.

Hey @semrush , what api do I need to use to get historical keyword data. I'd use "domain_organic" but I want daily data, not just the 15th.

Just a reminder. Website/page builders are empowering. They're a fast way from 0 to 1... or even 0 to 100. But that's just a handful of sand. Learn to code: that's the whole beach.

Think about something like Brick Builder. Why stick to default WordPress tables? The theme-specific data would be a lot easier to migrate if it were in its own tables.

Budgeting SaaS: “Give your spouse your password 🙂” Me: “Or you could support multiple logins like it’s not 2004.” And this isn’t the only offender. You can use my email to identify me, but don’t use it to identify the account. Many reasons to have multiple people in 1 account.

#WordPress FSE: Does it store anything in the DB? Getting conflicting info.
