His physicality is ridiculous. I’m super impressed so far. He’s built like a traditional #9 but w wide attacker characteristics (runs in behind, combination play, byline + cutbacks) & cf traits like holding up play when we go long.

I think with Henderson it’s not just the running (which is impressive) but he knows exactly how to play deeper in a 2. He unironically has ‘pausa’ and doesn’t mess around w runners when defending. He’s perfected the basics of midfield play and it’s all we need

I can think of 10+ sequences over the last 2 games where he either buys a foul/puts his foot on the ball or slows the game down some other way. Thats a huge value added to the squad imo

4-4-2 off the ball again and Chelsea look sooo much better. Josh/Colwill/Lacroix been v good again especially Josh who locks down the entire flank & always seems available in possession
