The Bears signed long snapper Scott Daly to the active roster and released rookie LS Beau Gardner. Cornerback Nick McCloud was signed to the practice squad. Some CB depth in the wake of Tyrique Stevenson’s hamstring injury.
It shocks me that people actually have to explain this for others to understand.
For the people making fun of Caleb for "crying over a hamstring"
He wasn't crying because his leg hurt, he was crying because he didn't know if he was going to be out for any length of time and he hates not being out there. That's why most of the guys who are crying on a cart are crying (during an adrenaline dump mind you).
These players like playing football, and don't want to stop playing football.

Bears QB Caleb Williams avoided any major injury to his hamstring Sunday, tests confirmed today — and the team isn’t even ruling him out for next Monday’s game against the Eagles, sources tell @ringer @netflixsports.
A massive sigh of relief in Chicago.
Can’t believe there are actually people giving him grief about showing emotion in that moment. He thought his season was over! Think about all the time, effort and preparation that was flashing before his eyes. You can tell some people have never truly worked for something.
If Caleb only misses 2-3 weeks and avoids IR, that is a massive sigh of relief.
