Very little difference between my Twitter stream and Mastadon now, besides Twitter’s adverts and big brands I don’t care about.
99% sure this is the way forward—probably not for the larger Twitter audience—but certainly for the web community.

post-elon twitter: Everyday with you all has been a gift. I owe my career, my friendships, and my marriage to this community. I’ve fostered compassion and activism each and everyday with you all, fighting the good fight (1/40)
Can anyone explain the difference between the `currentColor` and `inherit` values?
I've searched but I can't find anywhere that clearly explains why you'd use one value over the other.
With all the nerds moving over to Mastodon, I'm secretly hoping it'll feel like tech Twitter 10 years ago 🥰
The easiest way to transfer people you’re following on Twitter > Mastodon is to search through who other people are following.
I followed a load of web people, so check who I’m following on Mastodon if that helps
Pro tip if you're using the web interface of Mastodon:
Preferences > Appearance > Enable advanced web interface
This makes Mastodon look just like Tweetdeck, with multiple columns spanning across the screen.
Looks like most of the people I care about are on Mastodon anyway. This shouldn’t be too difficult after all.

I know I moaned about Mastodon but I'm giving it a go – purely because I think Elon Musk is an absolute knob

This is also a good idea – indoor locked bike parking. Not having access to indoor places to lock your bike is a problem in London. If you have a half-expensive bike it's too risky and anxiety-inducing locking it up outside
