Elizabeth Holmes ran clinical trials on cancer patients for a device she knew wasn’t going to work.
grossest part is when Seyfried, who went Liz’s home, played with her children & believed she was a victim being manipulated IMMEDIATELY throwing her under the bus and shit talking her when confronted by the fact that she may have harmed her. Type of bitch to say “Im a girls girl”

If you saw You Can See Everything and came away thinking anything is unknowable and ambiguous, you’re part of the reason that narcissists can run roughshod over society and usually get away with it.
A few readers have taken me to task for “missing the point of the film,” which is apparently that Elizabeth Holmes is unknowable and everything is ambiguous. Here’s my response: She went after Tyler Shultz and Erika Cheung with everything she had. I was threatened with litigation on a daily basis for months on end. It was a ruthless cover-up of a breathtaking fraud, and she was at the controls. Just a little context for those who have forgotten or didn’t follow the original story. By the way, I loved the film. #BestPicture, IMO.

I’m just not interested to see a movie about a sociopath, narcissistic, white woman, who knowingly defrauded cancer patients, lied to/compromised the health of thousands of people & scammed investors. Especially with this current administration. Not a needle mover for me. 🤷🏾‍♂️
‘YOU CAN SEE EVERYTHING’ opened with $15M domestically. Biggest opening weekend for a non-music documentary in over 2 decades.

Every day I get genuinely shocked at how many people can’t recognize scammers. And look, I understand that sometimes games are fun to play! But to genuinely fall for this shit?

Hey guys, I’m going to say this gently, uh, Elizabeth Holmes is a master manipulator. And the fact that y’all are coming out and saying: “well actually, Fielder and Seyfried are just as duplicitous,” is proving even more that the movie worked. Because the film is a showcase of how scammers work and how even when all the evidence is pointed against them, they can somehow still get by, to the point where even Fielder was compromised. And the fact that some of y’all are willfully ignoring that to invent this falsified reality just reinforces how effective the scam is
Replying to @SarahMeyohas
Agreed 💯 And the ones who are going to really benefit from this are Fielder and Seyfried who come off as more duplicitous themselves… and the last shot of the movie is Holmes with her kids who will not get anything good out of this. And the last blurb of the movie (it’s not a documentary) seems like Fielder having the last laugh on Evans

Did Elizabeth Holmes coming after me and my sources with everything she had and threatening to sue us out of existence bias me? Yes.
I am a big fan of you, don’t get me wrong. but My question is do you think you have any bias as a result of your experience as a journalist in this case?

perfect encapsulation of why you should probably do your Holmeswork before seeing it. or else you end up smol beaning her on twitter and looking quite dumb
The Holmes movie is well made but deeply immoral and shouldn’t exist tbh. If you got a ticket you woulda def attended an old timey freak show, im so tired of no one having any interest or making any effort to preserve the dignity of their fellow man

Working class people labor all day to make this possbile btw. The rich consume the wealth we create, destroy our ecoystem and then tell us to work harder so they can keep living like royalty. What you are seeing are the resulsts of hundreds of years of parasitism.

Master of Arts (MA) in Global Security and Strategy Fun fact: I had a suit planned for this shoot, but my designer had an emergency and couldn’t get it ready in time. Things took a different turn, and it got me thinking about how we’ve come to associate education with western clothing. There’s something beautiful about celebrating an academic milestone in a way that also reflects who we are and where we come from.

If you have an intense soul, you need to pour that intensity into your hobbies/art. That energy needs to go somewhere or it'll swallow you. Your depth must have a purpose. Create your own worlds, that you and other like minded people can escape into. You have a super power.

The fact that people are even talking about her "going back to school" proves how badly the 2026 ending neutered the source material. In Stephen King’s novel, Carrie’s ending isn't a cliffhanger. She bleeds out in the dirt, heart stopping in the street after wiping Chamberlain off the map. It's a complete, fatalistic tragedy. By changing the ending to let her survive, the show cowardly traded a brilliant literary climax for plot armor and potential franchise extensions. It’s high time they stopped treating an absolute apocalypse like a teenage hiatus. #Carrie
literally so sad shes most likely never going back to school . #carrie

I think this might be the first time in American history you’ve seen a Muslim candidate demonstrate a part of their prayer in an ad like this. In response to attacks about his faith, Abdul doubles down on who he is. Takes courage to do this.
As a man of faith, I pray every day. Faith is a thing there’s just too little of in Washington.

Targeting a bank for investing in weapons factories is a hate crime now. I love this fantastic new standard we are setting!!
NYC Council Speaker Julie Menin on this morning’s vandalism of a Capital One branch on the Upper East Side, where windows were smashed and graffiti reading “DROP ELBIT” and “PAL ACTION” was left on the entrance: “What the NYPD is doing now is they're investigating it as a hate crime. They're gonna do a fast investigation; we appreciate their work on this, and the community is deeply concerned and upset about it.”

Ian Gibbons killed himself after working for Holmes because he believed in Theranos’ concept so much that when he found out she was lying he couldn’t live with himself. Gibbons’ wife Rochelle tried to go public but lawyers for Theranos and Holmes sent a C&D
