Aaron Rodgers is a coach on the field, and so much of his communication happens without saying a word.
Here, @CharlieBatch16 Batch and I break down his game winning touchdown pass to Germie Bernard. If I can diagnose the coverage pre-snap, so can Aaron, and Charlie shows us exactly when Rodgers relayed the message to his rookie receiver.
The game within the game.

Ben Johnson on Drake Maye:
"Combination of a guy that's an elite deep ball thrower along with he can crush you with his legs. That combination is deadly. You can see that their offense is putting up points in bunches right now, a three-game winning streak and a ton of explosive plays. Josh McDaniels does a great job making sure he puts those guys in the right spots."
Full Respect for Drake Maye 🤝

The NFL launched an investment fund called 32 Equity back in 2013 with $1 million from each team owner.
Team owners have doubled down several times since, and 32 Equity has now raised more than $250 million.
The strategy is simple: the NFL invests in companies, helps them grow through NFL deals (think: data, licensing, sponsorships), and then benefits as a shareholder, profiting off both sides of the transaction.
In 2017, the NFL acquired a 3% stake in Fanatics at a $3.17 billion valuation. Fanatics works with the NFL on everything from merchandise and trading cards to hospitality and retail, and is now a $30 billion company.
Other investments include Hyperice, CLEAR, NOBULL, Skillz, Genius Sports, EverPass, and Appetize, with multiple companies producing nine-figure returns.
Now the NFL is doubling down again, announcing yesterday that it is partnering with private equity giant General Atlantic ($130B AUM) on a new investment fund.
By becoming a general partner in this fund, the NFL will get paid to manage other people's money (management fees and carry), and team owners won't have to share any of that money with players (because private equity investments aren't included in revenue sharing).
Today's newsletter breaks down the details.

Damon Wayans talks about the difference between Black and white celebrities having fun, and how he walked up to Will Ferrell at poker night and asked where the hoes at, unlike his Uncle Marlon, who brings hoes everywhere with him.
"That's when I realized the difference between how Black celebrities have fun and white celebrities have fun, back on the set of The Other Guys. Will Ferrell and Adam McKay had a weekend poker night in a nice hotel room with a dealer and an open bar, and they invited me."
"I remember showing up for the first time and it was Will, Adam, a couple other celebrities, and zero bitches."
"So I go up to Will and ask where the hoes at, and he says they're just going to play poker."
"I just wasn't used to it, you know? Because like, you know, Uncle Marlon. He got hoes everywhere. He bring hoes to the dentist. You know what I mean? Shout out to Marlon. That nigga die, he bring bitches to heaven."

Erykah Badu joins The Shop to talk about her new music, she compares her older music to Tupperware company.
“Tupperware made material so well that they didn’t have return customers, so eventually Tupperware went out of business…Even though they made smaller containers and different products, people didn’t need them because the original material was so good.”
