Something I told 14 yo: People are going to stop reading books. I wish this wasn't so, but I fear it is. The silver lining in this cloud is that if you're one of the few people who still read, you'll have a huge advantage over everyone else.

3 Important Rules for Success: - Always remember that nobody knows anything. - The only way to figure out if your idea is a good one is to try it. - If you don’t start, you’ll never get anywhere. Don’t forget.

I love how Robert Greene explains it in Mastery: "If you lose contact with your inner calling, you can have some success in life — but eventually your lack of true desire catches up with you. Your work becomes mechanical." Chasing money without purpose is hard and exhausting.

Andre Agassi was only seven years old. Every single day, his father made him to hit 2,500 balls. That's nearly one million balls a year. And a boy who hits one million balls a year will now just become better, but unstoppable. The quoestion is: What's your "tennis ball" and how many times a day do you "hit it?" Remember, every day you don’t someone else does. Start today? Something’s gotta change...

How can you stay motivated when I don’t feel like it? Stop relying on motivation. There is no other way. There is no shortcut. Go get what you want: 1. Break your big goal into small steps and put it on your calendar. 2. When the time comes, just do it. Make it a habit.

I heard me, I always say: read, read, read. Today, I say: STOP reading. Why? The time has come. Create something. Experiment. Show us what you can do.

Came across Scott Adams' advice: "If you want an average successful life, it doesn’t take much planning. Just stay out of trouble, go to school, and apply for jobs you might like. But if you want something extraordinary, you have two paths: 1. Become the best at one specific thing. 2. Become very good (top 25%) at two or more things. The first strategy is difficult to the point of near impossibility. Few people will ever play in the NBA or make a platinum album. I don’t recommend anyone even try. The second strategy is fairly easy. Everyone has at least a few areas in which they could be in the top 25% with some effort. In my case, I can draw better than most people, but I’m hardly an artist. And I’m not any funnier than the average standup comedian who never makes it big, but I’m funnier than most people. The magic is that few people can draw well and write jokes." What do you think? What are your 2 things?

There is no success without risk. You just have to try something that may not work.
