From the accident, she has fractures in her hand, leg, and pelvic region. The doctor said the surgery will cost about ₦5 million. It is extensive and will be done in two phases.
First they will operate on her hand and leg. When she recovers from that, they will do the pelvic region.
It has been a painful experience. We have already spent so much on drugs and medications just to keep her stable this far. The pain is still there every day.

As SU General Secretary, I signed several letters petitioning against police activities in Ilorin. Their activities mainly involve harassing and extorting students.
If you have not experienced it, that is fine. What we want is for no one to experience their harassment.
When people are calling for authorities to check these officers and improve their conduct, coming out to tweet that you have not experienced it waters down and dismisses others’ experiences.
Some people may be guilty of the accusations by these officers, but that does not justify harassment. Due process should be followed for punishing offenders.
Nobody should be harassed after being profiled.
