Degrowth should not be so controversial in rich countries. We can reduce our consumption, share wealth more equally, and have a better quality of life whilst we do. All of these things are not only possible, they are necessary.

Whats been really disappointing about (much of the) media coverage in recent days on the Climate Change Bill is that they have said little to nothing on the potential impact of climate change itself on this society. Its quite shocking. Horrific actually given whats at stake.

Passed! The Assembly has voted to set a Net Zero target of 2050. We would have preferred to see more ambition in this target but this is an historic vote. 👏🏻 👏🏻 Well done to everyone who grafted and campaigned for the past 2 years and longer to make this happen.
