Certainly had fun with this sale!馃槄
Top work by @_GBShop - not just for having the best British food in Nova Scotia for years, but for introducing a 25% off REVERSE TARIFF SALE on all baked goods this week AND referring to it as the YUGE REVERSE on the receipt!
Give them support by filling yer pie holes!

I'm a good foot and a half taller than all of the bakers, but that doesn't ease the fear of having to put another 96 Scotch Eggs on one of their production lists馃ぎ馃ぃ
Oh and in case you didn't hear, we are running a "no tax sale" running until February 14th!馃巺馃徎鈽冿笍馃巹馃巵
Festive Bakes now available.
After much experimenting it is this;
Turkey, bacon, Brie, stuffing, cranberries, cranberry sauce and gravy.
It's a flaky pillow of perfection.
Steak bakes just out of the oven and in the background, our festive creation experiment continues.
Turkey breast, crispy bacon, Brie, whole cranberries and cranberry sauce as well as a turkey gravy.
In the sausage roll format the Brie melted out, so this one could be perfect.
Against my better judgement, we're playing with ingredients for a festive sausage roll.
So far, Bacon, Brie, Cranberry Sauce and our regular Pork Sausage Roll meat with a hint of Nutmeg & Cinnamon.
It might be we make this into a "steak bake" style, so the Brie doesn't melt out during baking.
First tastes are very good!馃嚞馃嚙馃巺馃徎

Our free-range pork comes from Oultons, in Windsor, NS.
It then comes to us here in Halifax where we turn it into sausage rolls.
Starting Friday, said sausage rolls will be available at Oultons, in Windsor, NS!
(Along with a few other delicious 馃嚞馃嚙 items!)
For anyone questioning my stubbornness: just remember, the British are still burning an effigy every 5th of November to make a point from 400 years ago馃嚞馃嚙馃巼
