VIDEO: I watched this with a heavy heart.
A widow, whose husband was reportedly killed by bandits, is now left alone to care for five young children. No income, no security and little to support the family as they struggle to survive.
This is the human cost of insecurity that often goes unseen. Behind every headline is a family forced to rebuild their lives after unimaginable loss.
May Allah (SWT) forgive the deceased, grant his family patience and provide for this widow and her children. Ameen – at Katsina, Nigeria

Nigerian troops have repelled a late night ISWAP infiltration attempt at Cross Kauwa in Kukawa Local Government Area of Borno State, inflicting heavy casualties on the terrorists and forcing them to flee.
During the operation, troops recovered a Sony camcorder from a neutralized terrorist cameraman. Preliminary forensic analysis of the footage reportedly reveals the involvement of three foreign terrorist facilitators, including individuals identified as a Palestinian trainer, a Morrocan doctor.
The terrorists were also said to have attempted to loot cholera medical supplies, further supporting intelligence reports of a cholera outbreak within terrorists camps.

Here is the Palestinian, Abu Ishaq al-Maqdisi, who appeared in ISWAP’s “Generation Empowerment 2” video of 2024. He’s reputed to be a fine trainer. He’s also referred to as a “former Palestinian soldier”.
According to my sources, there is also a Turkish doctor currently with ISWAP.

Lithium mining activity going on at the Old Oyo National Park, the first frame showed the sorting process of the earthy minerals at the Old Oyo National park while the other two videos shows logistics activities of the bikes.
Ranging from there are multiple entries to the site either from Oyo State via Kishi and Igbeti or via Bani a border town along Kwara and Oyo State.
Once a bike enters the forest, there are about 7 - 8 checkpoints within the forest which is controlled by locals providing security for miners in the forest. Each of this checkpoint charges each bike per trip ranging from 100naira, 200,300 and 500naira while the last checkpoint which will lead you to Daba (illegal mining) charges 2,700naira per trip.
And the estimated population of the bikes plying through the area is around 3000 to 5000 bikes. Which is significantly increasing, the mining which has started about 8yrs ago has been accepted by all parties both locals and foreigners including the Chinese who are actively participating in buying the minerals there.
It is an organized crime and has many wings because those who do not mine but just look for logistics companies to pick up the items earn about 500,000 naira on each truck they bring forward.
The local security earn more than 300,000 naira daily for those recieving 100naira as gate fee. The Federal Govt and State Govt needs to pay a huge and urgent attention to this mining activity, it is a billion dollar economy which is been illegally mined.
This is numbers of motorcycle moving Lithium earth minerals from (Daba) Old Oyo National Park to Kishi or Igbeti, and each of this Okada riders charge 12000naira per bag, the individuals acting like a union for the motorcycle rake about 20-50million naira while those working for the union daily take home is 200,000naira.
The whole illegal mining stuff is a cabal and a organised crime.

The minister is absolutely correct, but only by half. The flip side of the coin is that the utter neglect of these rural communities is the fuel that terrorists are using. When a community member provides information about terrorists, who protects that member from reprisals? Have we not seen how ISWAP, for instance, is killing people for being spies for the government?
Dear Minister, as you make this statement, are you aware that for the past few months rural communities in Sokoto and Kebbi states have been receiving letters and announcements from ISSP telling them not to obey the government’s rules (basically the constitution) because it is against Islam, promising protection against oppressors, and warning people against supporting the government against it, and calling on the youth to join it? Are you aware that these letters are handed over by community leaders to the authorities? Are you aware that authorities are telling communities to destroy the letters and not make them public? Are you aware how deep and fast ISSP is spreading in rural communities in the Northwest? Who is there to protect these communities if they disobey ISSP?
“Banditry, insurgency, terrorism… why does it seem so difficult to deal with it?”
Minister of Defence Christopher Musa explained that armed groups “survive around the people” through food and information supplied to them; he described these enablers as the “oxygen” sustaining their operations.

4 vehicles of Army, 2 of Police, 1 NSCDC all to evacuate one politically connected family from Kaura Namoda LGA of Zamfara State to Abuja in the middle of the night. Meanwhile, the ordinary people on that same street are left behind to face the kidnappers alone – at Katsina, Nigeria
This is the son of former lawmaker Tijjani OD, a Nigerian politician, taking time on his Instagram page to explain how his family fled Zamfara at night under heavy escort from the Army, Police, and NSCDC after kidnappers reportedly attacked nearby and threatened to return.
They had security.
They had protection.
They had somewhere safe to go.
But what about ordinary families in Zamfara who have no armed escorts, no police backup, and no resources to relocate overnight?
This is the reality many residents face daily, with nowhere to run and no one to protect them when danger strikes.
