🗣️ “I was able to get them with 75m to go but it was a LONG 75m. The crowd got me going. I have like 20 people here with family members. I was just thinking, ‘Get to the line!’”
@joshk97 hit the world with a little reminder why he’s the reigning WORLD CHAMPION. The chatter after Kingston was loud. His roar after the finish in Miami was louder.
Next up: He’s ready for @marco_arop to make him hurt a little bit in the 800m. Tune for that race at 7:05 p.m. ET on Saturday. Stream it on @peacock. Watch it on @thecwsports.

I absolutely love seeing Black athletes succeed after getting bashed by the media for being outspoken
This is amazing 😂 People are upset and saying he’s too cocky? I don’t think he’s cocky enough. I want more
🗣️ “Just stick to me as long as you can and you’ll get yourself 3:46.” – Jakob Ingebrigtsen
🇺🇸 Yared Nuguse was asked about his chances of breaking Alan Webb’s 3:46.91 mile American record from 2007. Olympic champion Jakob Ingebrigtsen just had to interject.
The requested pace for the Bowerman mile tomorrow is 1:51.5 through 800m by @eSowinski. That’s 3:44.30 pace.
The world record is 3:43.13 by Hicham El-Guerrouj. 👀

Really mature, insightful interview from Centro here. In my biased opinion he’s the American middle distance goat. If he can pull off making another team that’s the cherry on top
