When life comes at @ByronDonalds from all directions, he turns to prayer and self-reflection.
Sometimes, heβll sit out on the back porch in silence, just thinking and praying.
We make time for devotions together and on our own to reflect on what God is speaking to us. π«Ά

My boss took my dance class.
After hearing about my 3 failed cheerleading auditions...
She told me something that helped me finally make it onto the team.

Heartbreaking story from Hurricane Isaias. While Storm Chasing I ran across a home that was completely destroyed. No walls. No roof. Personal belongings everywhere. I heard a voice yelling 'Mike'. Turns out the family follows Mike's Weather Page and invited me up to share their story. Brought me to tears what I saw, and what I heard. The purpose of this GoFundMe is to raise money for Laura Dean and her family. Also met her dad and her son. Such great people. They lost so much. Including their vehicles from the storm. I was blessed to meet this wonderful family and want to help. All money we raise will go to them. Let's show the weather world we can all come together to help. Neighbors Helping Neighbors. Hoping to write a big check to them from all of us from MWP! Please share!!!

From our beaches to our waterways, Floridaβs coastlines are part of who we are. Theyβre where families make memories, small businesses thrive, and communities come together.
I enjoyed spending time in Indian Shores with Congresswoman @realannapaulina, local leaders, and Tampa Bay Watch to discuss my Coastal Corridor plan.
Protecting Floridaβs natural beauty and strengthening the communities that depend on it go hand in hand. Thatβs the Florida weβre working to preserve for generations to come.

A reminder that even in red states if common sense doesnβt prevail that we will go backwards. Please support candidates like @ByronDonalds who will protect girls and womenβs sports.

Because he was in the Emergency Operations Center with all of our agencies immediately following the storm, making initial contact with FEMA and checking in with our office multiple times to make sure we were good to go.
In other words, what you want a future governor to be doing in your city.

One of the hardest intellectual skills is being able to say, "I strongly believe this, and I might still be wrong".
My hometown of Pensacola is a special place. Looking forward to the video, Mike.
Had a pretty emotional moment today in Pensacola Beach. Saw this condo completely destroyed. Roof gone. Rooms gone. And this gentleman just sitting there (90 years young). Pleasantly sitting. With complete destruction all around him. He waved. I waved. Then I hear 'Mike'. Video coming next of one of the most touching stories I've ever witnessed Storm Chasing.

Saving lives! Florida National Guard Soldiers with Delta Battery, 3rd Battalion, 265th Air Defense Artillery Regiment, take immediate action after finding a vehicle submerged in a roadside ditch in the aftermath of Hurricane Isaias.
En route from Tallahassee, the Soldiers stopped, swam to the vehicle and pulled its occupants to safety. Always Ready. Always There.

FIRE NORVELL!!!!!
Florida State has lost 13 consecutive road games under Mike Norvell
Seminoles only lost 12 road games in 14 years (1987-2000) under Bobby Bowden

Northwest Florida appreciates you β€οΈπ
This morning, Miami-Dade Fire Rescueβs Urban Search and Rescue Florida Task Force 1 (#FLTF1) began its journey to Tallahassee ahead of Hurricane Isaiasβ landfall, answering the call to support communities across North Florida that may be impacted by the storm.
The 88-member team is traveling with the knowledge, personnel and equipment needed to assist communities facing the stormβs impacts.
As Hurricane Isaias approaches, FL-TF1 will be positioned to work alongside local and state responders, providing additional resources and specialized capabilities wherever they are needed.
While the full impact of the storm remains uncertain, the teamβs mission is clear. To stand alongside the people and communities affected, lend a helping hand, and provide support.
